    Shocked about Dissidia Demo

I was always going to buy this game. It had some of my favorite characters through all of Final Fantasy smashed together in battle and it seemed an answer to my digital dreams.

I was shocked that the game was so good. Seriously all they had to do really was give me Final Fantasy characters in a fighting game like that and I'm good. But taking the fighting genre and adding something new and exciting to play that personally I haven't seen before...bravo Square. I'm glad my purchase is going to be well worth it.

Oh and I was also shocked my fave of the 5 was....Onion Knight. I never would have guessed.

I have chatted with a few people that have said the same thing. Big surprises come in small packages, yes?

I haven't gotten my hands on the demo yet, but I plan to be one of the first ones to buy this game when it hits store shelves.

    Me, too!

I'm still waiting for this game to come out here. Just sixteen more days. I generally dislike fighting games, but I love Final Fantasy games. But really, a fighting RPG is different from a regular fighting game, isn't it? I'm sure I'll love it. Just sixteen more days...

I enjoy his special attack the most. This game really is just dripping with fan service which in my opinion is a very good thing. And in the demo you can't even access the numerous RPG type additions. I just can't wait.

I've heard similar reactions from other people. I'll admit that I wasn't to excited about the game at first, mainly because of the genre, it was handheld, and I felt like it was Square milking the series to it's last drop.

Some of these still hold true, to a lesser degree, but it looks like a very polished title and I suppose I wouldn't mind seeing classic FF characters rendered in 3D.

Agree. I really loved how it had the Bravery points and stuff.

Terra and the Onion Knight are my favorites. Hisw voice is so cute. ^^ When I was first playing as him, I lost; it felt like I killed a child...that scream... XD
I like how they let you do the ultima combo on hard with Terra. I can't wait till the 25th! ^^

Good thing I pre-ordered it from Amazon. XD

    Ahem!
To all those who originally didn't think the Onion Knight was going to be powerfull or to those who are shocked, I have one thing to say.

The Onion Knight once said "Being small has its advantages." Anyway, Onion knight and Cecil are my favorite. I also like cranking it up to hard mode and using the black materia with sephy but thats really the only thing I like about him...

I am trying to hold out for the new PSP that's coming out. When it does, I'm buying that and Dissidia and I'm going to play the living shit out of it.

Problem with the PSP GO is that it doesn't play UMDs.

Unless Square-Enix is going to allow download purchases of Dissidia, you won't be able to play it on the new system.

They said they're looking into a solution, so here's hoping. I don't have the money for a PSP right now anyway, unless I sell my Wii. Which might be an option considering there's like nothing coming out, and nothing out to play on it.

I saw it in Game yesterday and I was torn between pre ordering it. I think I'm going to leave it to see some reviews of actual play when it's released. It sounds good but I'm still unsure if it's just a fight between various characters for fan boy squeals rather than real game play

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a game make solely for fanboys/girls, if you're on this site you'll need this game. I know I do.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

I do find myself sorely tempted to pitch Squall against Septhiroth...

I plan on doing just that, Squall vs. Kefka as well.
