I just bought FF12 Revenent wings or whatever, another copy of final fantasy 3 (i needed a book and case ^_^) War of the Lions, Crisis Core, a psp, and a copy of Dissidia.

Question, Is Dissidia good? I love that it has Cecil, I had to buy it for that ahaha. So opinions please?

I think the fighting mechanics are pretty fun, and playing as some of your favorite characters is a plus, but it really didn't get much further for me than that. The story was not that great, imo, and that's a really bummer for me, but I suppose there really isn't any fighting game that has just a superb story, since those games are more focused on the whole "fighting" thing (hence the genre). Could be wrong though, but I don't play many fighting games.

I don't want to turn your thoughts about the game into anything negative, because you just very well may like what it offers. Give it a go for yourself, and trust what you think about the game.

I played for a second, cecil versus sephiroth. I was getting mad at how hard it was. But I don't care, it's fun. =] And it was my first time playing, tyler my cousin got that far, couldn't beat it, and handed it to me, I lost, and was like "Whaaaat?" Ahahaha.

Level Grinding was my favourite add on to this. Plus, the store is MASSIVE, and there's Easter Eggs in all parts. Story made me sigh, but all in all it's amazing

Do it, then when you get a PSP your world opens to many new games to play. =] Fun ones too.

I got a PSP for this and crisis core. Since you can download VII - IX on the PSP now it's totally worth it just as a final fantasy portable device now.

Been messing around with Dissidia a bit. I think in terms of difficulty it really depends on your level, and the story mode really helps you through the mechanical "huh?" of it at first rather than jumping into an arcade fight. I don't think it's that hard so far..but I could be wrong.

The only thing I didn't like about the game was how to use certain abilities. Like I would try and hold right or down and the character will do something different every time.

The only thing about this game is the battle system (other things that are semi are moogles,graphics,equipment and music, just the remaked songs though) in my opinion.
Otherwise i think it's just a super-lame copy of Super Smash Bros, the characters, storyline and the vocals are so bad in Dissidia, it threw me off.

And i like Kingdom Hearts,Ehrgeiz but this game i don't recommend other than to give square more money, hopefully it will be used for something better than that.
For me this game is in the same category as the Tactics and Crystal Chronicles series but hopefully this is the last Dissidia game.

its a PSP game so it won't be graphically superb. Also the vocals are by the people who original did the vocals for the characters. Storyline, who cares its a fighting game they NEVER focus upon story line(exp:Tekken, Soul Caliber).

This game is a great fighting game. Each character has its advantages and its disadvantages, but most people can't see that because of the stupid Tier List crap someone made. Its customization is also great, something that most fighting titles don't have.

and Zidane this is no where like SSB, my opinion of course and i respect yours ^^

Soul Calibur 2-3 had better storyline in my opinion (and it wasn't that good).

I have nothing against the graphics in this game, they were good.
But the vocals of Squall and Zidane were so bad it offended me.

Well actually the vocal for Squall was the same voice actor he had in Kingdom Hearts 2, which i don't know your feelings on that but i found it good. Zidane well i don't kno << didn't like the character in general xD

I agree with you there was severely disappointed by the voice of Zidane, was looking forward to hearing him with a voice and then blah...need a new voice actor. No offense to the voice actor his voice just didn't fit for me

I thought Squall was okay in KH2, storyline was a whole lot better too but just the script and how uncool Squall was made in Dissidia, just how cool he was supposed to be failed in my opinion. Squall was cool in VIII and KH but in Dissidia all i saw was a bad imitation but that's just maybe me
I've always liked Zidane and the first attempt to give him a voice failed in my opinion, his storyline was one of the worst in Dissidia and the remake music from IX in his map was horrible, he and Squall were just bad imitation but i liked Cloud,Firion and Tidus's story.
Terra and Cecil were not bad either.

He's everywhere! Anyway, I was alittle annoyed by Zidanes' voice actor but I was really in all truth expecting what I herd. Really the only thing that bothers me is that Chaos is sooooo dang hard!

Overall good game though.

Its hard for some characters, but not hard for Exdeath lol. All you got to do is Omni-Guard off the bat to block his initial attack and then follow up with Hurricane xD!
