While I did like the game, I did think it had some flaws.

First off, I thought that some characters (Tidus, Yuna, and Rikku) were more developed than other characters (Wakka and Lulu).
Spoiler:
I REALLY would've loved to hear more about Wakka's relationship to Lulu considering that his brother Chappu wanted to marry her. (And yes, I am aware of their relationship in X-2 so you don't have to tell me)

As for not having a world map? I'm sort of torn on this issue. On one hand, I miss the freedom I had in games like FF7 or FF9 (the only other two FF games I played so far.) On the other hand, I did like how it felt like I was on a pilgrimage with the set path I was given, that was pretty cool.

For the sidequests and minigames, I haven't tried them all yet as I skipped some of them. (Although I do plan to do them) The ones I did try were mostly hit and miss. I hated Blitzball, but I liked the chocobo races and training challenges.

Overall, while I do think FFX was a really good game, I felt like it could've been better.
