Re: What Book Did You Buy Last?

I got Eclipse about a week ago. It's book #3 in the Twilight Saga. I was completely against seeing or reading any of her works, but after seeing two of the movies I felt compelled to read the books and understand if there were things I was missing. As I read Eclipse I am began to like the idea of seeing the 3rd. movie as well. The first two movies and books were torturous, but I have a curious personality. Although I still think the vampires are the gayest vampires in the world; the explanation of the werewolves was easy to swallow. Much easier then Hollywood has forced upon me before. It made it a bit more real to me. Anyways; I finished the book in two days and can't wait to move on to the 4th.

Got Breaking Dawn a couple days ago, and just finished it. I was annoyed by the first two books, and curious upon reading the third. However, after reading Breaking Dawn I feel like it was totally worth it. I LOVED the ending, although I could have dealt with more blood and gore. I understand it is a PG13 book. Loved it though.....didn't know I had that kind of patience.

The last book that I bought was... Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. I heard about it from my Events tutor, apparantly it has alot of consumer behaviour items in it so I wanted to learn more. It's all about how judgement of a person / item can be made in the blink of an eye. Can't wait to read it!

Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk. I bought it after reading Invisible Monsters, which I enjoyed, but I'd already read a plot summary with spoilers by accident, so a lot of the twists were lost on me. So I'm desperately avoiding anyone ruining Lullaby for me.

last books...."the zombie survival guide" by max brooks. finally got around to picking this up. also, "the complete tales and poems of edgar allen poe". ive been itching for some poe as of late so im sure that'll satisfy my need for a while. he was my favorite author in grade school which my 4th grade teacher couldn't seem to grasp why a 9 yr old girl would like to read such things

Everlost by Neal Shusterman. It's about two kids who die but their spirits get lost on the way to the afterlife and they end up stuck on earth. They soon begin a journey to try and find a way back. So far it's really good and really sad even when it's not actively trying to be. There's one scene not far in that's absolutely the most haunting passage I've ever read. I haven't even finished it yet but I highly recommend it to everyone. Go read it. Now.
