Project: Time Mages Guide to Monsters

Im workin on a humorous story, not so much a story more of a beastary that focus on all famous and not so famous monsters of the final fantasy universes. right now im typing it out. each chapter focuses on one or two monsters, what to do, where to find them in any universe. and how to save yourself a few magic points by finding a great place to sit and have a great cup of tea.

Introduction:

The Time Mages guide was published in the paraxial universe by the adventerous Multax "Chicken" Turmos. earning the title of chicken as after have a close brush with death with a very nasty looking squirrel.

After many years of seclusion in his home, he came up with the Time Mages guide. he said it is a repository for all time mages to use when traversing time and space. and the do's and do not's. When commented on his reasoning for staying in his house for so long to work on this story, he mentioned saying that time mages can not go through space and time without knowing the dangers in themselves and the dangers around them, as well as a very mean looking squirrel that made a nest in a tree next to his house.

Expendus Crono Encyclopedia has a blend of machanical bindings from future like worlds with magical inscriptions to confound those who do not use magic. this has made the book virtually unusable to common people and has been listed as one of the best coasters used in the kings court of Ulna of the Syphanx universe.

Multiverse:

The universe is big, so mind blowing big it could not contain itself as its reality keeps exapanding. many cult time mages say that the creations of the multiple universes are the work of a great and powerful Organism that seems to split itself when it gets bigger. it is believed by many to be a load of bull hockey.

As there is an almost seemingly infinite amount of worlds and universes to visit, it is important to bring your bathrobe. such a large and indeterminate amount of dangers or happenings in each world that goes on, that one must be prepared, the guide has this to say about the bathrobe.

"The bathrobe, one of the most useful traveling tools to take with oneself when crossing into the fabrics of time and space, it is said that one could survive the frigid colds of the Hermus universe where the sun has dissipated, the fabric too produces a strange electric field which repels other creature from coming near or suffer the fate of a miniature thunder attack. its sleek, light and very fashionable no matter where you go."

1. Iron Giant

The Expendus Crono Encyclopedia has this to say about the iron giant creature:

"If one person to meet a Iron giant the best option to deal with it is to run. A large construct, whose sole purpose was to be a entertaining toy at a party. This sword wielding hulk can not be in no means be friendly to others unless it is requesting some oil for its joints."

The iron giant is a large foe that is not meant to be taken lightly, unless you turn out to be bigger, heavier, and packing more magical heat that would scare a sage. Many people suffer from a chronic fear of being stabbed. this much is true based on the giant blade it carries.

Best way to avoid this creature is either running in the oppisite direction from the creature, or moving to another plane entirely. The practical up shot is, if one were to control it a lot of tedious chores around the home could easily be cleaned or done, if by chance your home was the size of an opera hall.

It origins in the universe are not quite a mystery, before going off and multiplying, it was a party favorite made and filled with candy, it was designed to make it harder for the party guests to get to candy inside. Igraf Tongue a fighter from the Salv Universe said this. "Well i think this party favorite could be evil" uttering in his last breath just after getting cut in half at the torso.

These creatures are much like any others and have a weakness, and water and salt are not its friend. Rust is a common weapon against the iron giant, and with it finally done and out of the way the spoils of victory will taste bitter sweet as the candy would finally be accessible.

2.Flan

"It is a wide and popular fact that the flan is not by any means a dessert or should be ingested into the digestive system as this is inharently bad for ones health. This was inadvertently discovered when Yinlon Shore who traveled to the Aeolus universe discovered a large grape like desert sitting in a bowl on a dinning table, upon ingesting the flan he died of complications of his heart, his companions quickly buried him and took his objects while saying; I never like him, at least he got his just dessert."

The flan is often a small gelatinous ooze that lives in damp environments, swamps or abandoned buildings or caves. do not be fooled by there lacking of a solid form. these ooze can melt the bathrobe right off your body before you can say Behemoth mary-go-round has broken down.

Some theorist mages seem to think that the origins of this creature come from the nose of a great and powerful being and unleashed its disgusting nose mining habit upon the inhabitants of the universe. its best to deal with this vile creature by sticking it in a pot and boiling it for several hours till it dissolves.
