Vagrant Mind
Up the streams of drifting gray,
wander the thoughts of ire,
twirled along nonsensical paths,
of happiness, pain and desire.
And it changes,
bridges fall,
ruined.
Shifting plane,
scape changes,
restored.
Or not...
Ignorance shatters,
forged anew.
Knowledge sound,
...for the while.
New stat arrives,
mind contrives,
the old was right,
so screw the new.
A tower to forge,
where once a gorge,
was fit to stand,
idea now bland,
tossed away,
another day?
Or not...
Down the pits of twisting gray,
past the walls of sanity,
sits a mind that must be right,
damn to hell it's vanity.
And it changes,
bridges fall,
ruined.
Shifting plane,
scape changes,
restored.
Or not...
Borders close,
ideals now safe,
protected from the new.
Eyes now blind,
do you mind,
protected from the true?
