Alright, now for those who don't know, Clarke is a science fiction writer who wrote 2001: A space odessey. Now I just got done reading the fourth and final installment, 3001. Now the first three books were phenomonal [well the third i found very iffy but oh well.] Now, I noticed this in the fourth one, his writing got lazy it seemed, the book ends in my opinion kind of dumb

Spoiler:
They inject a computer virus into the monolith on Europa wtf?

I found this ending just a lack luster way to end a great series. Plus, the book just seemed to "rush" skipping details and ignoring earlier parts in the series. Anyhow, for the hopefully some who have read this, what do you think about the fourth book and how it ended?

[Oh and I take nothing away from Clarke, hes one of my all time favorites]
