Ahem...an outlet of creativity
I don't really have a title for it, but in the interest of true poetry I shall call it...Oswald's Lullaby?!
Friendly forest fires started by chance
Consume all the gloom and create romance
Where is it you find yourself tonight?
Amidst all your riches and health
Not this eve Oh No!
You’re with me in poverty
Wealth to rags so quickly found
To hear your voice so beautifully
Inquesting those icy eyes
For an answer
Upon which so eloquently is put
Lyrics to love's first song
Time passes and the tempo
Fades to a blunt crawl
Jagged notes pierce the melody
Leaving nothing left to salvage
Is this how it always ends
Like a voyage in shipwreck
Swirling in a whirlpool of distrust
Makes me wonder
Colorfully covered scar tissue
Hidden to all the passerbys
But like wax and pottery
It is seen in the light
So as you can probably tell I'm not very good or anything. I just started writing like this the last few months. I'd like to see what those of you who have a knack for this kinda thing think. So comment away.
