The first time I heard this kid's voice on the radio, I was "Ew, wtf?" and immediately changed the station.

I honestly don't understand how this teenager, who looks like a little kid(and who will most likely fall into the pit of nowhere when he finishes puberty), has gotten so famous. His singing tends to annoy me and make my ears bleed and cry for mercy.

So, opinions on this kid? Like/dislike his music?

Also, for the few of you who have never heard of him, Justin is pretty much this kid who raps about breaking up with his girlfriends and his parents taking away his cellphone.

I never heard of him, so I did a search on Youtube to listen to some of his stuff. I will say that he does have a good voice for how young he is, but it's not something I see myself getting into.

My guess is that his target audience is young teenage girls, and that type of fanbase will obsess over anything if it appeals to them, especially if they find that anything attractive. Here's a comment on one of the videos that I watched of his:

This kid damn near caused a riot at a pretty big mall by me, and that was the first time I've ever heard of him. I've heard one of his songs on the radio, and I just don't get it. That pop crap doesn't do it for me.

I do love the double standard though, since they interviewed some girl who was about my age (23), who was going on about how hot he was. Somehow, that's acceptable, but any time someone my age brings up Miley Cyrus it's sketchy.

I think he's going to be more of a one-hit wonder. It seems like, for the young male teen sensations, they all burn out relatively early, but yet we got girls like Britney Spears still making music. Not that I'm complaining, but it just seems like Beebs is gonna follow the same trend. imo

Honestly the first thing I thought when I heard this song on the radio was that is was this Justin kid. Yes my wife forces me to listen to this ****......... They sound identical.

Any which way it goes it is crap. That statement goes twards both of them. I agree with Rocky, one hit wonder. When puberty hits this kid will be forgotten like the Hansons.

Pop music doesn't really do it for me either. This kid wil,be a one hit wonder, I mean all of his fame has came from one song "One Time". I have never heard any other song from him beside's this one.

He became famous by targeting teenage girls, they all go crazy over him. Like Pete I also wonder why it is exceptable for 23 year old women to say he is hot, but not okay for a 23 year old guy to say Miley Cyrus. Maybe it is cause guys take things to far, and chicks don't maybe...

he's what 15? 16? he sounds like aa 9 year old girl. and the song he sings "one time" should only ever be heard one time. i cant see how girls love him. but hey thats my opinion
