So I bought Tomb Raider on Tuesday. It's good. I've actually never played any of the previous games. Yeah, I know. Up until a few years ago aside from Zelda I rarely played anything that wasn't an RPG. No particular reason, most of them just didn't seem to appeal to me. That all changed with Assassin's Creed and since then I've been expanding out more into the action/adventure genre. So back to the subject at hand here. It's quite fun and while some sections ...
Since Darksiders is free on the PSN store, I decided to grab it and finish off the final few trophies I had left to get the platinum. I know, no one cares about trophies, it's the completionist in me. You can tell how much I like a game by how far out of my way I go to collect those little virtual cups. Battle Hardened was one I'd been working on so I got that first. Tedious as hell, but not difficult in the least. And I found some amusement in punching ravens to death with the Tremor ...

Yeah I know, it's been out for several days already. I only just got my copy yesterday. Not my fault. Hurricanes wreak havoc on shipping schedules. Anyway, hmm, I dunno. I feel like I love the concept of the game but so far the execution (heh) feels oddly flat. I played for several hours yesterday and I actually found myself getting bored at points. I've thought about it for awhile and I think it comes down to a few different things: Characters: Hatham (no spoilers) ...
Just some random stuff I've run across. The easiest way to collect the archives is to unlock the horse as quickly as possible. Why? Because it's large and extremely fast. You can travel to any area in minutes if you've got the paths down. You can also outrun pretty much anything quite easily. It's not difficult at all to collect all three archives then sacrifice yourself to get the next story episode in less than five minutes. Or keep playing if you wish, I'm just impatient. ...
