The best part about having any extended free time is that after the initial boredom and frustration has passed, you find that your intellectual senses become less dulled. I find that I am often taken with a urge to research and write more, not always when you might expect it. It can be as I'm trying to sleep at 3 in the morning. I can be playing a videogame and then I want to fire up JSTOR. Usually it can take the form of a trigger phrase on a TV programme that forms a link of research - anything ...

I'm back! No job though, oh well. Anyway. been a fairly straight forward week, just hung out with some people and partied a lil bit. Although I don't exactly own a guitar to stay in practice atm...my ears just keep getting better and better, playing by ear just seems far more natural than tabs or whatever. That's about it for now.

Just kidding, but it sure is nice to be back. I'm glad to see that some members continue to be active but from what I can tell it's only a notch away from being a ghost town o_o Not sure what I'll be able to do, but I'll try to be more active from now on. Life hasn't been kind but I managed to survive, I sure hope to hear from my friends again

So life is pretty good right now. I'm feeling great about a lot of things. I had a really good weekend and spent time with some very cool people. Went bowling and had a long walk on the boardwalk with a friend on Friday, which was both awesome and a lot of fun. The worst part of the day was getting stuck in a monsoon at work. THAT was awful.

Saturday was an interesting day. I ran for about three miles and felt pretty good. I wound up having to drive into the city for a incredibly frightening ...

It turns out I suspected correctly, it was my phone's battery. So I now have a new one. A better one. An extended one. The nice Verizon guy said it would make my phone slightly more bulky. By slightly he meant twice lol. Ah, whatever. And I still have my original as a backup, kind of. It doesn't hold much of a charge but I suppose I can keep it in my car for emergency use. And there's no law that says if it's really annoying I can't get another non-extended one and keep the extended one for longer ...
