It is Halloween again, and if this topic has already been posted please delete this one. Just did not see one at first's glance. I am betting most of us US girl either have, or will have our costume picked out by the big day. I just had a few questions for everyone.

I prefer the old man in uniform thing. What I would not give for a firefighter *crosses fingers*.

I think Halloween is just a fun day when kids get candy, women get to dress like whores, and men their there excuse to drink and look at women dressed like whores, or just dress up silly ourselves. I am going to be two things because I am a waitress. thurday I will be a beer serving angel, and Friday I will be a stool dusting french maid.

I must admit to loving origional/fantasy costumes. I can't wait for halloween, even though I don't know what I'm doing yet. Hopefully, with college and freedom, there will be some party going on some place. I'll still do trick or treating because I don't think you can get too old for it, but... Its no fun when everyone else is doing something better.

I was thinking about going as a vampire... Something about vamps are hot, especially on halloween. Just the blood, gothy theme... *shrugs* I'm going to some Anime thing the weekend before Halloween, so maybe I'll be able to get a good cosplay costume there.

Anyway, it still isn't planned whats going on, so only time will tell...

I'm twenty years old, so I'm far too old to dress up in Halloween gear, but if it was just for fun, I would probably use the nurse design from Silent Hill, or go the whole way and construct a Pyramid Head outfit. It'd be a fun project.

2. What do you think of the holiday
I like Halloween, but it isn't as widely celebrated here. Nobody over the age of about 13/14 dresses up (unless it's for a party, but even then nobody of my age is really seen about in costume), and we don't decorate our houses, although a lot of us still use pumpkins for cookery and jack-o-lanterns.
Sometimes I see strings of rubber bats over peoples' houses or a light-up witch or something, but that's usually it.

3. What do you believe to be the sexiest outfit someone can wear
I don't believe there is a sexy outfit that fits a certain stereotype, but that's just me. Dressing up doesn't do it for me and never has. To be honest, I don't like what kids wear these days. Chav, emo/goth, punk... I find that emo/goth and punk are usually worn by very young people anyway. I just prefer for people to be dressed normally and not like hobo's or dead people.
Then again, I don't have to look at those types often anyway these days, since everybody I know is too old to dress like that.
That said, I do appreciate cosplay outfits, but you don't wear them constantly anyway.

I believe Halloween is widely celebrated in America? I've seen some people decorate their entire houses. Total WTF fest.

For Halloween, I usually bake some scarily shaped cookies, bake a couple of pies and cook up a nice big dinner for when my mother gets home. I also usually read, play some scary games and watch a couple of movies.

I try to make it fun for my 14 year old brother... he enjoys the magic of the day.

Im not to keen on the holiday, these days you get loads of imature kids throwing eggs at people and homes, and you never know whos door your knocking on either, i personaly think halloween was a made up holiday so stores can make extra money from selling outfit and candy, i proberly sound like an old fart lol

That's a good question. I love Halloween, mostly because it gives me an excuse to drink, and it gives women an excuse to drink and dress like sluts. It also gives me yet another reason to be as politically incorrect as I possibly can, and I like that.

I don't know what I'm gonna be for Halloween, but I do have a Ninja Turtle costume... made for a husky 10-12 year old. It's super small, and that makes it funny.

Either that, or I'll come up with something good. Last year I was a lumberjack.

Like I said, super fun. It marks the beginning of my winter cooking frenzy. I'll be making a pumpkin pie, probably pumpkin bread, and maybe some kind of spooky blackberry alchy drink, if I can get the materials. Blackberry daiquiris with green cool whip. And maybe an orange slice for decoration. Maybe next year.

3. What do you believe to be the sexiest outfit someone can wear
Something they feel comfortable in. If a slutty pixie does it for you, awesome. If something goofy does the trick, then that's pretty attractive too. I chose the "Something original" option... because I love wondering about someone's costume and then having it dawn on me.

Not really. Some people have their parties, some colleges/schools have little prom's or disco's, and kids run around with eggs and little bags for sweets. Other than that... we are just boring old England again.

For the real fun, you need to be (or at least look like) over 18 to get into a club. My friend managed to get in one last year, and the party was awesome! Haha, damn it... I stayed at home and waited for people to knock on my door so I could scare them with my werewolf mask, or get my dog to barkloudly at them lol!

We thought it would be funny, but I think I might go as a Witch or a Vampire instead. I have a gothic skirt that I never wear, and I think it'd look pretty cool as a costume. I'm attempting a Kikyo costume as far as it is, but if I'm going to a party, I'm going to buy this sexy Hermione costume I found in the Crossgates mall. Oh, I just remembered that one Halloween I was Sporty Spice. The guys I dormed with were all different Spice Girls and the girls across the hall from us went as slutty cops. I wound up wearing just a sports bra and booty shorts, borrowed from one of the girls. It was incredibly awkward, especially since drunk dudes were hitting on me, not to mention I had to buy a pair of tighty whities to keep everything from hanging out. The girls hitting on me, not so bad, but the dudes made it really weird, cause I'm not exactly feminine when it comes to y'know, being a hairy bastard. Later in the night, when we got back from the frat party, and decided to hit the bars, I traded the booty shorts in for some regular track pants, and I MIIIIGHT have a pic of that somewhere. I'll post if I can find it.

They don't actually celebrate Hallowe'en here in Australia, and most years it passes with 90% of people not realising it's come and gone.

Me and a few friends usually throw together a party, but we don't seem to have anything organised for this year, so I'm not sure what's happening.

Laaaaast year, I went as a sexy.. Corpse bride. ^^;. Wedding lingerie with sheer blue 'dead' shadow spread over my body, blue blush, and mussed up hair.

This year will not be a sexy one. My boyfriend's dressing as Garth from Wayne's World, and I'm Garth's girlfriend, since I have a Linux manual (it's not mine, for the record) and we have some crazy wigs. Just need glasses and lumber shirts now. And maybe a dog.

I don't really see Hallowe'en as being sexy though, I never have. It's mostly kids here, so there's a feeling that if you're over the age of 12 and dressed up it has to be more funny than anything. You have to look like you don't care that much, which is why up here at least people printing out a Google page, sticking it to their forehead and coming dressed as 'the internet' is perfectly passable and thought of as neat.

As for the sexiest costume? Don't really know. I guess it depends on how you do it. If you're a girl, you'd need to make it skimpy or something. I dunno... I don't really care at the moment, I don't feel the need to look sexy. Too young right now. As long as I don't look fat or shitty, then I'm prefectly happy, haha.

Good ol' Halloween ...

The first time I really drank -- and the last time I dressed up for Halloween -- was a college Halloween party. One of my good friends is a couple years older than I am, and while I was still in high school, I went up to his college (which I would eventually attend), met a few people, and drank. The problem was that I didn't have a costume. I went to Target that night to see if I could find him a cane (he was a pimp), and figured I could look for a costume while I was there, but ... of course, no decent costumes left on Halloween evening, and I wasn't about to get something incredibly stupid around people I didn't know. (I was more timid then than I am now.) I didn't even find a cane for him, but I did find sparkly sunglasses.

A friend of my buddy's ended up letting me borrow a Boy Scouts shirt she had that belonged to her little brother. LITTLE brother. I managed to get all the buttons buttoned, but the sleeves barely covered my shoulders, and at times the shirt didn't reach to my pants. And, of course, the chest hair poked through in between the buttons, down the center of the shirt. So I ended up being a gay Scout leader for Halloween.

The problem with me is -- as far as Halloween goes anyway, let's really narrow this down -- that I already am a Soldier, which would, itself, be a decent costume. But I can't wear my uniform for Halloween, it just wouldn't work. I mean, Halloween's the time to dress up as something you're not. And honestly, I'm not too creative. Another problem with that is that I already have everything I would need to make quite a few different military costumes, but yet again, can't really use it.

Then again, I have Drill next weekend. Maybe I can sneak my pro-mask (gas mask) home.

A few friends and I were planning to dress up as clowns and go bar-hopping. This wasn't for Halloween, this was just for something to do. That was earlier this year, but didn't really work out.

So this year ... If I do dress up, I'm not sure what it'll be as. I don't know many people around where I live (or let's face it, I don't really know anybody), so I'd probably have to go out and drink alone, which is pretty sad in itself. I guess I can just hope to think for a while, and come up with something with enough time to make it work. Halloween is on a Friday this year too, which is awesome.

My next costume is going to be the "Green Man" from the television show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".

I probably won't get around to doing it this year, but definitely by next year, I will become him. It's really not important for this year, since I'm not planning on going to any parties. The only thing I have planned is going to a GWAR show the night of Halloween. If someone's willing to go Trick or Treating, I can whip up a decent costume really quick.

I like it. I'm not a halloween enthusiast like some people, but I get into it at times.

Anything clever. Any girl with half a brain can go to a party dressed as a sexy witch, but show me a girl who dresses up like post-assassination JFK and they've immediately got my attenion. Either that or a giant, infected toe. Yeah. That's the stuff.

I'm planning on going as Lenalee Lee from D.Gray Man ^^ I already have the outfit on the way. I would have gone as Yuna from X-2 since I have the hair, but decided against it since it would take hours to style plus I wouldn't want to ruin the hair-tail thing she has.
Also I'm going as a short haired Lenalee since the wig wouldn't get here on time and if it did I wouldn't want to ruin it >_<
