They wanted the IPs for the PC online gaming and mobile platforms. So my guess is that we may see less console and portable games and more of their IPs in areas that are not normally seen. It sounds like Atlus' IPs will survive and continue, just not in the format we would want to play them.

I think mobile gaming is the epitome of laziness and for non-gamers who dont like dedicating time and effort into gaming.
