The End of the World is Two Fridays from Now

So, the world is going to end on December 21st, which is a proven fact, because dead Mexicans said so with their really old weird calender. So we're all going to die in a couple of weeks.

In light of this, I am simply wondering how everybody will be spending their last few days alive. How will you be preparing for the end of the world? How do you think the world will end? Is there any possible way to survive it?

I, personally, have been preparing diligently. I've taken out a life insurance policy for the very first time in my 82 years. However, now that I think about it, since everybody else will be dead too, taking out a life insurance policy doesn't sound like a very logical way to prepare.

Anyway, so what's everybody's plan?

If the sun decides not to rise, I don't blame it. It is supposed to be the day with the longest night afterall. Winter solstice is on the 21st. Could be a miscommunication maybe. Whichever way you decide to look at it I guess.

The Mayans created a precognition calender. That's freaky shit. Why wouldn't they be able to predict the creation of leap year? They predicted literally every single thing that ever happened in human history. In fact, the calender starts at the beginning of the world, which was in 3114 BC. Well, it might not be, but that's how far back the calender goes. But it does predict every single thing. In numerical form.

For example, the calender may not predict in detail the events which transpired on 9/11, but it states that the year 2001 AD would eventually exist, which it did. However, it also states that the year 2013 AD will not exist. Maybe. So, you have to ask yourself this. Did 9/11 happen? If you answered "yes" to this question, then there's a 97% chance that the world will end in a couple of weeks.

This, and a whole slew of great T.G.D.C.E quotes, should be printed on one of those calendars that you pull off like Post-Its. Then, make the calendar end on Dec. 21. That way if (or when) the world ends, everyone will know that Clint Eastwood said that it would.

As for me, I will be patiently waiting for my new computer to arrive (if it hadn't already arrive by then). If it doesn't, then I will haunt the company for 100 years after the world has ended.

Actually, the world isn't allowed to end. Why? Because I still haven't finished playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time.

It means there is no end to it. The 21st is the end of a cycle. There have been many cycles already that came and ended, then new cycles began, and we're all still here. Saying they predicted that there would be a 2001 and not a 2013 is like saying our calendar predicts there will be a December, but nothing after it. We just start back over, the cycle ends, it isn't an indication that we think time is going to end at the end of each cycle.

this is just something the media blew out of proportions in the attempt to boost their ratings and as a result

People have been crying out that the world is going to end on a certain date since the very early times. In fact between 2009-2010 some guy predicted the rapture to occur only to end up wrong. I mean take this article for example.
