Dammit, Rameses . I had an idea for a thread closer to October all about Halloween, and one of the things I wanted to do was to do write-ups on horror movies as well as a special post dedicated to Slenderman. Oh well.

Anybody that wants to read up on the mythology should take a look at this. The coolest part of the whole Slenderman thing is that it's a modern urban legend that's constantly changing and evolving.

In terms of youtube series, I recommend starting with: Marblehornets (the original and still the best), EverymanHYBRID (starts great but is pretty convoluted at this point unless you're following every little thing they do), and TribeTwelve. If you like those, then you can be like me and delve way too deep into all this shit. I think at some point someone on creepypasta had compiled a list of all blogs and video series related to Slenderman.

MarbleHornets have done bloody well they even have me creeped out by this sh#t so much so that I had to stop at entry 23 or 24 late last night, but curiosity got the better of me and I kept watching it the next day. It is done quite well but the could have talked more in idk that's just my opinion.
