And its more symbolic than anything, im assuming its in reference to Lucifer and his fall from grace as an angel, cast out of heaven because he couldnt accept gods love for humans, just like Sephiroth couldnt accept he was created in a lab. Sephiroth was pretty much the greatest assest to Shinra before he lost his marbles and fell from "grace".. And became an evil fuck!
