    Hardly ever... unless I was in a rush to get to the next save point... or when I wanted all the OD modes on X. Just for the sake of completion, 'ya know. hehe I'd really rather die and work on my strategy than flee. It's no biggie unless you forget to save.

    I have done that MANY times.

    Depends on if the battles are worth the EXP and spoils.
    having said that,

    In FFVIII, all the time.

    Fleeing, ey? Usually from those battles where I gain little to almost nothing at that point, that and whenever I plan to reach my destination as fast as possible.

    I use Diabolos "Enc-None" ability to avoid enemy's in Final Fantasy VIII, it's way faster and less tedious than simply running away from them.

    Ya, i use Enc-none at Ultimecia's castle cuz usually by that point iv spent some time on the ICTH so i am already lvl 100 and the only time i need to battle is for items but for them i just usually card mod
