Do you use WALKTHROUGHS?

I usually buy Final Fantasy strategy guides out of habit and collection purposes, but I rarely use them until I've beaten the game of my own volition. The only times I've been stuck enough to use one were when playing through FFXII (pretty much the whole way until I got bored and stopped playing it altogether... remedying that soon...) and trying to beat Golgorand Execution Site in FF Tactics the first time around. That last one is effing child's play now, but when I first attempted it at 14, I couldn't friggin' do it. No matter what I tried.

Thanks for mentioning FFXII in this thread. It reminded me I should get the guide for it and I just did. Brand new for a total of $17 off eBay. Sweet.

Maybe the book will guide me through the Great Crystal because that place is HELL!

I hope that it was the collectors edition guide for that much. You were ripped if it was the normal version.
