How smart are you???

Intelligence is not directly related to the Intelligence Quotient.

Having a high IQ just means an adeptness with logic. Logic, unfortunately, has no direct impact on actual intelligence. Usually, highly logical people are better at mathematics, but otherwise it doesn't mean shit when it comes to real-world applications.

The last IQ test I took (REAL test, hundreds of questions on paper, not some shitty online test) scored me at 153. That's actually lower than it was in high school, but IQ should really be listed as a range or an average, not a single individual number. My highest test was 168, and my lowest was 146.

Am I SMART? That's an entirely different question.

I can sit here and tell you that my brain is incredibly efficient, but I really wouldn't consider myself to be very smart. There are a lot of things that I don't know, and I have a very difficult time retaining information. As much as I really enjoy history and the sort, I've got issues keeping all of the facts straight. Then again, I am "that guy" who wrote the ten page essay for English half an hour before it was due without reading source material and aced the topic. I guess it's hit or miss.

It takes me longer than it should to remember something important... but keep me away from numbers, because I'll retain those forever. I still remember phone numbers from two decades ago... and credit card numbers I've ever had to type in... social security numbers for anyone I've ever worked with... you know, shit like that.

Yes, Iq usually does drop 5 years for every year your brain "Rests," but 168 is a little much.

And yes, I know the pros and Cons of IQ, but you know, it tests other things, as in Memory, and spatial reasoning. Higher your IQ is, the easier and quicker it should be for one to adapt and reform to any given situation.
I haven't thought myself as incredibly smart, tho the signs were there.
My Psychologist also said I was gifted and enlightened, but he didn't tell me what that meant, he laughed when I asked and that was it, pissed me off. I think he knew I would get cocky if he told me >.<
