So I just saw the end of the San Diego/Oakland game. I doubt anyone else watched this, but right at the end, San Diego was at the Oakland 35 or so, and there was a "fumble" by Phillip Rivers that was returned for a touchdown. Only his arm was moving forward when the ball came out. By my estimation, it was perpendicular with his head when the ball was swatted away from his hand. I believe a week ago at the Oregon State game, a similar play happened, only it was ruled an incomplete pass and not a fumble. In both games, the announcers agreed with the call. I don't know if the rules are different between college and pro, but... that pisses me off.
To be honest, I've been watching more college ball than pro. Mostly Oregon State, who upset #9 in the country yesterday. I promise it isn't because Green Bay has been struggling as of late... Does anyone else care about college ball, though? That's all we have in my area, so... Green Bay fans who are actually from Wisconsin could easily be happy with the Badgers this year, seemingly. Have they lost a game yet? I know they almost lost to Arizona State a few weeks back (who Oregon State barely beat last week, too.) Anyhoo...
