It's not that you've not got the money for the big festivals, Djinn, it's that they're ****ing daylight robbery. That's why I'm going to Poland - I'm determined to have a festival summer. Three weeks in Poland and at least two big festivals (including travel etc.) is going to cost me about the same as three days camping at T in the Park. I would love to see Rage at T, Franz Ferdinand and Asobi Seksu at Connect, I'd loooove to go to Rock Ness...but the sad fact is British festivals just aren't affordable for a lot of real fans these days. Rage, for all their socialist bumff, more than happy to have lifelong fans of theirs charged through the ****ing nose...£180 to spend three days camping in the middle of Glasgow, I swear to God...

Yeah, i'm with you on that one haha. I was going to get a single day ticket for leeds, but it was ****ing £60 or something... for a day, jesus. Not seen a single cheap concert, or gig for that matter for a loooong time. It's kind of annoying because i love going to them, last cheap one i saw was Incubus and that was a while ago.
