I specficly said the SCIENTIST that lived with Aerith's mother, the correct answer is: ( Professor Gast ).
You were correct that Sephiroth's actual mother is Lucrecia, but he always makes Jenova out to be his mother. I just now remembered about Lucrecia but some that don't do Vincent's quests wouldn't know about Lucrecia.
