OOC: If you aren't remembered, then you never existed

I was wondering if it's still too late for me to try this out? I've been on this stie for 3 days now, so please don't yell at me...I'll admit that I haven't read all the posts yet, but I am trying to finnish that tonight. There are 33 pages of them...and I have only read 8 O.O

If I can still do this thing, I'll try and come up with a character!


Name: Akira Toiyuki (I just made this up if that is okay)<--I'l just go on ahead and refer to myself in the third person in this OOC

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Jutsu: Akira can control inanimate objects by surrounding it with her chakra. This is used as a homing system for her weapons such as kunai and shuriken. The larger the object is, the more concentration is needed. Hand-signs aren't needed other then when she is summoning her chakra. Akira is able to summon weapons from scrolls and use those as well. All the normal jutsus and techniques required of gennin to know are in her knowledge, but she can't control any elements like her incredible classmates.

Taijutsu/Physical fighting junk: Her physical, close range combat skills like that of any other student, and her swordplay is barly enough to protect her from a few of her master's strokes (her teacher rocks at his job, she just sucks at hers). Akira moves very quickly and nimbly, but isn't as strong as most. Lucky for her, she's got some crazily annoying stamina to make up for it. It comes with being responsible for 4 younger siblings since your parents went away on a mission and never returned.

Appearance: Standing at 5 feet and 4 inches, Akira is one of the most average looking people you will ever see. Her dark brown hair reaches down to near her collar-bone. There are 4 piercings on her left ear (one on the lobe and three on the top), and two on her other ear (both on the lobe), and she has one very odd looking scar on the small of her back (more on that later ).

Akira wears a light-gray, loose fitting t-shirt under a black, unzipped vest. The vest extends only to the middle of her abdomen. She wears black shorts and a belt from which she hangs her kodachi in a forrest green sheath and the shuriken pouch. Her hitai-ate is tied loosely around her neck (think Hinata). Akira also wears gauntlets on both hands jsut because she likes to have them warm. Her footwear are the simple, standard ninja sandles.

Personality: Akira is very outgoing once she gets to know you. Around others, she will try to act less obnoxious so she won't make everyone hate her from the get-go. Akira'll talk to anyone that talks to her, but in most first impressions, she'll end up hating that person for abut a day until they talk again. Then, she warms up to the person and gets really annoying in a friendly way instead of an "I hate you" way. She likes to make sudden outbursts of things get too quiet and has a habit of biting people on the shoulders, arm, or hand. (I do that in real life too!)

History/Personals:Akira always lived in the village of Konoha with her 4 younger siblings. Their parents were elite shunobi that were always out on dangerous ANBU missions. All Akira knows of her parents' disappearance is that it happened 5 years ago when they were out on a information gathering task for the hokage and never came back. She has one little brother (8 years) and three little sisters (9, 6, and 5 years). She now lives with and takes care of her family in an apartment the hokage allows them to stay in.

She got trained by some old man once who claimed to be some sort of "sennin", but none of her skills were ever very good. (I have such a high self-esteem!) She saw him around Konoha again, with Naruto following him.
