I want to play a game.

Yeah. I can honestly say i'm a mamma's boy. And my mom is one of the coolest people on the planet.

I don't bother with status resistances as abilities. It's too hard to predict, and the sacrifice is too great. I favour equipment with status resistances until the statistical gap between it and my latest piece of equipment is too great. I can't remember what it's called, but most of my magic users have a piece of equipment that offers silenceproof.

Still in that process. On the whole, they're four levels behind.

Was that battle in the Phoramphra Wildwood? I love that place. I finished all the Chapter 3 maps there. Annoys me that you need 2 dragoons at least for most of its maps though; limits the melee units you can afford to train there.

I didn't say they were forcing anything, but the fact that it is a choice in the game to use them is a mistake in itself, it takes away the whole point of playing a game of feeling in control. And like someone else said just saying you could play without gambits is not a good enough arguement since it plays a big part of the game, much like junctioning in ff8 etc... Restricting yourself to not use something in a game just because it's too easy is not the point of playing games.

I actually didnt pick up on it initially, Although I do remember some odd sequences when her name was brought up. One to do with Orlando saying "lets talk about something else" with a shocked look on his face. Another when Toby said "lost my v plates, but there was something wierd"

Erica? .. what exactly happened in your ending? For me, Boss was the bad guy.
I knew that getting 3 drinks into you would benefit you when it came to climbing the tower, but I never knew in what way. I didnt like the clock tower because they were rather taller than the rest.

Yeah I completed my first run through last night as well and I also got the bad lover ending. Im not entirely sure how that worked out, I managed to keep the moral bar in the middle for majority of the game. I'd like to get the true catherine ending, although I watched it online because I wasnt sure if I had it in me to go through the hell of climbing that tower again. Is 6-3 the ice bride? because if so, then that was also the hardest level for me. She was climbing that tower incredibly fast, and even with the energy drikns boosting me up 3 blocks at a time, I still found it a challenge. Although I did breeze through most of the other stages, I think it was the tension that got me most. I got the delux edition so I have the soundtrack (which only features 10 remixed tracks of the classical themes played throughout the climb) and I download the OST which features all the tracks in game besides the classical remixes. I enjoyed the game immensly. Such a riveting story.

I noticed you ahve vincent in your sig. Have you completed it yet, and if so, what ending did you recieve? Also, did you find the game overly difficult? I had to play it on very easy mode to make it past certain stages.

How is Tactics Ogre going for you?

I'm grinding in Chapter 3, having just got Vyce and the White Knights into the team. Because I had these guys, a Necromancer, a Witch, and various monster units (a White and Dark Dragon, a Hydra, a Cyclops, a Lamia something, a Lizardman Juggernaut, and a Faerie Familiar) at level 1, I decided to stop and get them all up to speed. Along the way this group has grown by catching up to neglected classes, like my Gryffon. It's pretty good that enemies scale to party (including equipment), although not on every map, which is why this process is taking so long -- I'm over Tynemouth Hill and the one next to it. I play them in my sleep.

Indeed I am~! I pop on every now and again to see what's new. ^^

EDIT: It seems that Heavy Rain doesn't like me now. :/ Keeps freezing up on me... I wonder if it's the disk or the PS3?

It's not so bad today. Storm clouds have rolled in and are set to give us some nice and much needed rain. North Carolina could use some as well, it seems.

I never did summer courses when I was attending college. Now that I think on it, I should have, because the courses don't last as long. Barnes & Noble, eh? That sounds like it'd be riiiiiiight up your alley. Here's hoping something good comes of that. And sorry to hear that your GF is dealing with more dramas... Can't seem to catch a break. :/

Aw, man. That really bites... :/ This might be a dumb question, but did you try cleaning it? Might be worth a shot if you haven't. Get some rubbing alcohol and compressed air and go to town on that thing!

My PS3 isn't backwards compatible either, and I would be upset if it went kaput. My copy of GodHand won't play, but I think it's the disk that's the problem, because all my other games work fine (the ones that I tried recently anyway). Still a bit frustrating though.

Nah, not busy. Just lazy. Also, it's been rather hot, so I try to keep my computer off during most of the day. Don't want it to overheat it or something. If it did, I would be having some stupid unforeseen costs for myself.

Other than the PS2 dilemma, how have you been doing? ^^

Alright ok, calm down Yeah, but when it came to the fake deaths, you thought they were dead because you assumed they were in an unescapable situation, such as Hope's mum falling etc. But every fake death had the screen go black or look away before the person "died" which makes room for the possibility of them surviving. However, with Jihl you actually SAW Barthandelus do his mojo and kill everyone in that room, and you saw her being killed by his attack.
