So, I noticed that your birthday had passed earlier this month. I gasped that I did not say happy birthday. Then I thought where was I that day? I was in NY for I had a wedding the next day ( my uncle's). So I could say "happy belated birthday" but that is lame and overused. That birthday has come and gone so I'll get the drop on next year's birthday - Happy 2011 Birthday!!!!!!! *confetti* *fireworks* *murrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrder* Had to take a little break from FFXII just now; I'm doing mostly everything under Ivalice's sun. My objective is to go to Jahara, but I gained access to Mosphoran Highwaste and I'm trying to get certain items for treasure chests and monsters. It can take quite some time trying to get rare or very rare drops from enemies. In this playthrough I'm trying to buy very little and get most of my equipment, accessories, & gambits, from treasure chests or enemies. The equipment I have gotten from the Yensa Sandsea's and the Tomb of Raithwall has really held up well since the equipment is better than what the stores sell. I have logged 56 hours and some minutes as of now and am early 30's in level. I had gotten all three quickenings for every character before I fought Belias. I was farming for a long, long time; it is very rewarding when I do get that rare/super rare drop from a monster, plus I have a lot of money that I don't use - Gil Toss!!!!!
OH! OH! OH! The orphans would be a special summon for Migelo and their ability would be to "steal" the summon of the opponent. Thus the opponent's summon would be available to Migelo to use and the opponent would no longer have its summon.
Migelo, eh? He certainly would add in some interesting game elements! He could also call on some of the orphans he takes care of to aid him in battle.
Basch as the hero? C'mon ya know Migelo would be awesome; his attacks would include throwing alcoholic drinks in his enemy's face getting the inibriated, then DOINK DOINK DOINK. Match win for Migelo.
Yeah, I'm glad FF XII is getting another character, but I would still like to see a hero represent the game as well. With Vayne's inclusion, it's anyone's guess as to who might make it in now...if ANYONE does. I read that not all the games are going to get another character added to the roster, and how fair would it be if FF XII got TWO new characters? :shrugs: I guess only time will tell. *fingers STILL crossed hoping for Basch and Auron*
Sweet news. I wanted to be able to play Vayne in Dissidia, now it seems likely.
Regarding their development team. Final Fantasy XII took so long because Matsuno was making changes, then he eventually bowed out and the game took 5 years if I'm not mistaken. Final Fantasy XIII was originally on the PS2 then they switched it to the PS3 and had to build Crystal Tools game engine which took even more time. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is using the Crystal Tools (White Engine) as well so Versus was delayed as well. I don't think Versus was going to be on the PS2 so there wasn't a transitional problem there. Final Fantasy Agito XIII was originally going to be released on cellular devices, but the market or the phones weren't ready and they switched the game to the PSP - a great move by SE since that increased interest in the game a ton-fold.
Heh... Yeah, I read the article where they had to replace the youtube vids with ones from a different video hosting site. And do you ever check out the Spoony Experiment? He did some coverage about FF XIV, and he said the promotion for the game was pretty sub-par too (actually he said it was terrible...). So... I agree that SE needs to shape up a heck of a whole lot. And I somewhat agree about the development team, but I also think that SE shouldn't put so much on their plate at one time either and spread their team too thin. OR maybe they should just wait until the games get a good deal of work done before announcing yet another project...
It was on youtube but SE went to work quickly (do that for ya games SE) and had it taken off. They said that there is "lots to see of both games in the future". I don't want that "lots to see in the future" to be when the actual game comes out because SE has done a horrible job of releasing info on their games. A reason why they took down the trailer on some sites is because the trailer is a treat for those attending TGS. What about the millions of fans whom you have largely given nothing concrete about gameplay or a release date? The fans who first heard about this game in 2006 and you [SE] can't commit to a 2011 release date. I'm starting to get tired of SE press practices - that is one area of the company that needs a revamp, along with their development team. Don't leave work; no time-extra till you make it up to your fans.
Yeah, here's hoping it will be. *fingers crossed* And I think we'll start seeing better quality of the trailer that was shown here in the next few days. That's just what was leaked early this morning.
What's said is that clip of the FNC trailer is half the length of the full trailer, which is still sad to think all they could conjure up is a minute. 1/11/11 (lol; I see the "1's") better be great.
Meh. It's a good start, but I think about one or two more clovers should just about do it. Haha! Thanks for that though. To be honest, I'm mostly waiting on this doctor visit coming up in October before finding a new occupation. Hopefully, they'll have some kind of answers for me, and I can move on with my life.
Is that enough luck for ya?
Well, it's good that we're both okay! Yeah, I know the feeling of wanting to stay somewhere longer, though I've never been to NY. Sounds like it'd be a great place to visit. Can you also believe that I've never been to a wedding either? I've catered a few receptions though.
It's been ok. I recently came back from NY, though it wasn't that long of a trip - just 4 days. I had a wedding to go to; it was my uncle's. Everything was pretty good about it, though I wish I could've stayed in NY longer.
