Did you change your location or have you always resided where you are "crashing the Alexander into your home"? If you changed it... ! Hilarious! If it's always been like that... I can't believe I never noticed it before...
I used to draw as well but I haven't in years. I was pretty decent but two of my friends were better than me. One of those was extremely good and outclassed my other friend and I both. Unfortunately I can't show you any of his work as we grew apart in high school (he got into drugs) and I think he had a deviant art account but I can't really him. Oh well.
Aww. You should have kept all your writings! It could have came in handy, or at least gave you some inspiration for other books, and also you could see how far along you've come from when you first started! I have a bunch of old artworks lying around, and I dig them out sometimes when I'm feeling nostalgic. If I had a scanner, I would upload them to my computer and let people see what I can do, but alas I do not. I never noticed that the Al-Bhed had thier own type of font. I'll have to pay more attention the next time I play FFX.
You didn't seem the type to type in "L337" but once I saw it my brain went "Wtf? L337 speech? OMGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". When I was in high school I learned how to read the font "symbol" so when I was writing my many different books (none that I finished or have now) people would not be able to know what I was writing. I know, learning how to read "Symbol" and translate Al Bhed shows I had a lot of free time on my hands. I was thinking of trying to learn Al Bhed script but it really can't be done with a pen/pencil as it has more of a caligraphy style to it. File:Al Bhed Script.jpg - The Final Fantasy Wiki has more Final Fantasy information than Cid could research It is a simple language to learn though since all the lower case letters are just smaller versions of the upper case; I guess the development team did not want to go too in-depth.
I cheated.... English - Al Bhed Translator with Phonetics I hope you like the Greek food, and no, I don't have an affinity for ladybugs, but the costume was super cute! Also, I don't really type in that "L337" stuff. I found a site that translates words into it, and I did it just to annoy you. Don't you just feel soooo loved?
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!! At first you "L337" speech got to me but with the second paragraph I was able to read it fluently. Hahahaha. I was able to locate a menu for the Vietnamese restaurant and suffice to say, they have more than just Pho, which is good for my girlfriend and myself.
Goat?!? Blech...I've never had it, so maybe it really is good. It's not something that I would think of to try. Is your GF into trying new things like that? I guess she is, since she agreed to it. We used to have goats when we lived in Oklahoma, so I'm used to having them as pets. We have a Vietnamese restuarant, so I know what Pho is. It's really delicious, but yeah, I'm with your GF on the fact that I wouldn't want soup as a meal. I think of that as more of an appetizer-type dish. I'm sort of hoping that you choose to go Greek first, but I guess if you don't, you'll eventually do it. I'm probably only saying that because I've never had Thai, so I am more partial to something that is familiar to me.
If I ever saw the creators I would have asked why that title; it is so random but that may give it more appeal. At the Indian restaurant I plan on going to they have goat!!!! I think I will have to try something that has that as the meat. The local Vietnamese restaurants don't have websites, so I must go off customer reviews and it seems like all of them focus on Pho, a Vietnamese soup (wiki it to gain more knowledge). I don't have a problem with that, but my girlfriend is not that into having a soup for a meal, hopefully they will have nice portions of whatever meat we may choose. My girlfriend is wanting Greek - pasta has a special place in her heart, I am very interested in that, but I'm leaning towards Thai.
Greek food is awesome! We have a restuarant here in town that serves it and I really, REALLY like it! Greek salad is really good and gyros are as well. I ate some sort of something (I don't remember it's name) but it was some sort of baked vegetable dish, and the veggies were stuffed with rice. Really good stuff. I never really had Thai or Indian. I hear that Indian food is really spicy. I like spicy though. Haha, I was totally diggin' the title of the thread! I thought it would be more Star Wars related stuff, but I'm not complaining.
I've been thinking of trying: Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, and Greek food; in my area there are 7-10 restaurants for each so I may take my girlfriend who is down for trying them as well next week. I also want to have Korean again, I've had it once a couple of years ago. There a lot of songs so I know it will take people some time before they listen to all of them. Hopefully people will not pass it by because of the title. Of course, people may be drawn to such a title that contains a man, a myth, and a wookie - that has to be interesting.
Pass the Soy Sauce! I saw your thread about the music you have uploaded on Youtube. I didn't get a chance to listen to them all, but I liked the Zelda theme.
If I said "Vietnamese cuisine" you would reply with...
Have a good night!
