I like your theory best. It would make sense that Rinoa would want a gunblade for herself lol who wouldn't? I didn't see the Laguna thing coming either but it makes sense when you put Ellone into play I guess. Squall isn't as upbeat as his dad because he grew up away from him. Upbeat is a learned behavior. I think Edea healed him because she remembered him from when she was Matron. That makes more sense than a dream. I think people are trying to mix FF8 with FF7.
Hmm, That's a tough question. I've taken part in many debates over "Where is Squall?" and "Is Squall Dead?". All debates have come up inconclusive in my eyes. I believe it is possible that Rinoa saved him, but then again, Squall was a bit lost to begin with. Another debate was that he actually died in the first disc and the rest of it was a dream. If you notice, things start to seem a little wried in the second disc. Rinoa suddenly has feelings for Squall, Seifer is suddenly out of the picture, and Laguna ends up being his father. To be honest, I didn't see that coming. Laguna is too upbeat to be his father. That being said, If it wasn't a dream, it means Edea would have healed him. Herself being a sorceress would have been able to do that because of her high concentration in magic. This brings me to the conclusion that it's 100% possible that Rinoa saved him in the end. Rinoa may have wanted a gunblade for herself, so she got one. It makes total sense to me.
I agree about Rinoa, I love what he did. No one else has seemed to acknowledge that she is a sorceress now but Monty did. I love that she has a gunblade but it makes me nervous at the same time cause I have to wonder, if she has the gunblade, where is Squall?
Of course! A few years back actually. Still waiting for Monty to make the next episode. That won't be for a while though. I read somewhere that he got really busy with a few projects he was working on with work and won't be able to make a new one until he gets some free time. That has yet to happen. KH3 has better chances of coming out before Monty decides to make a new episode. I'm not too worried. I still watch them that I get bored. I LOVE what he did to Rinoa, and I'm trying to incorporate her gunblade into an RP I'm in on a different forum. Trying to come up with abilities has always been a weakness of mine though.
