  1. I didn't see that! Shame, I'd like a hamster run! Be too scared about that though, my garden is big, but we get a lot of bugs and cats hanging around.
  2. Lolz, have you seen Garden State? Its on, and I just saw a really cool, really complicated hampster cage/run thing! It was awesome!
  3. lol! That is pretty cool! I didn't know that there were dwarf hampsters!

I consider my dog my best friend... I don't think its sad at all. Human friends are great and everything, but they aren't always there. He's the first 'person' I see when I get home - runs to greet me all the time. AND he does the most sillest things like the time he jumped down the back of the sofa... lol...
  4. My family are quite stable for money. It's just I can't work because I have a couple of illnesses... One of them makes me collaspe randomly sometimes, so it's hard for me to get a job or leave the house without having somebody with me, hence why I can't really work right now.

As for my hamster, I bought him with his mother last year. Her name was Sari, but she died quite early into his life. My remaining hamster is named Jari, which is a Finnish name, but means "Dwarf" in Nordic, which is cool, since he's a dwarf hamster. I didn't know that until after we'd already named him.
To be honest, he's like a best friend to me a lot of the time, which could be considered sad in the eyes of some, but I think he's a lot more interesting than a lot of people these days. (Especially the likes of needless stereo-types and drink-driving chavs, etc!)
  5. I hear ya. Sometimes we're low on money too, but it nearly always comes through in the end!

What did you call your hampster?
  6. I hope she does invest in a couple of air con machines. Those things are freaking magic, although a little too expensive for me right now. I had to ask my family to give me a little money just to buy my boyfriend and my hamster a birthday gift each! It's not that I'm from a poor family, it's just the fact that I can't get a job right now.
  7. haha, we do have fans somewhere in the house. I have an air con machine, but thats in my mums room. She bought it last year for the summer cos she thought it was going to be hot, but then it was kinda cool all summer. This year though, she's planning on getting one to put in the living room... but we'll have to live with open windows until then lol!
  8. I feel sorry for you. We have fans in our house. I think we're one of the only families that actually use fans. Even though they blow hot air around, they're good if you have it aimed on you all the time.

I hate really hot Summers. Last year it wasn't so bad thanks to all the rain, but I have a feeling this year is going to seriously suck balls in terms of heat.
  9. lol!

what makes this all worse is that its pretty much summer now. we're all gonna have our windows open, so the noise is going to be much worse!
  10. If there's one thing I agree with people on, is that my area is that where I live is a really weird place. I live in a close which is right next to a stream and a big beautiful park... and then opposite, is a big industrial plant. It's a good place for it really, and there's a retail park about a mile away. I'm 13 miles from Central London, so it's not greatly busy here, either, thank God.

I hate that sound of glass and tins being dropped down into giant bins. When I used to drive into town, I'd always be there at the same time as those silly bin men!!
  11. lol! I think your lucky to live in a close... I live in a block of flats, in the middle of Hackney. If its not people playing their music too loud, its people doing DIY ALL the time! Every two weeks, some people come to collect the recycling at some silly time in the morning, so you are awoken by the smashing of glass and tins clancking together lol!
  12. You're lucky. If they want to bring wheelie bins to your area, you should rebel!! Or ask them to make the wheels out of cats or something.
  13. We don't have wheelie bins over where i live, so i wouldn't know...
  14. Yeah, haha. I live in a close, so lorries aren't a regular sound for me. But when those wheelie bins go over the bricks... My heart just jumps into fear mode... Then I realise what it is and I feel better... haha.
  15. lol! and when lorries go over bumps a few streets away!
