Thats totally understandable! I have to see things myself and work it out myself to better understand things, and my apologies i probably didn't use the best words/sentance structure of explaining. Anyways once you watch how to do it you will find it pretty easy! Good luck!
Haha! I didn't even think to check Youtube! All I've tried was looking up info on Google, and some of the way the information is phrased is kind of over my head. Might be better for me to actually SEE someone hook it up than just reading about it.

Well your modem or router ( what ever you have ) should have a D/C looking cord that connects to your Modem or router from the outlet in you wall and you should also have an ethernet cable which connects your PC to you modem or router ( correct )? If so unplug those to cords and let your modem or router sit for 45 sec, after that plug in your cord from the outlet in your wall back to your M/R then plug your ethernet cable back into your M/R but not back into yuor PC. Your PS3 should also have a ethernet connection. Take your ethernet cable that is now hooked back into your M/R and get ready to connect it to your PS3. Connect it to your PS3 as soon as you are turning your PS3 on and it should read your IP address from your M/R, thus you should be connected to the Online play with your PS3. Hope it helps!!

I can get you a link and you can try it if you want. I use it, and I love it. Of course, Photoshop is the better program, but GIMP can be just as good if you get the GIMPshop download as well.
