I've finished DragonQuest 8 and then Ico, remake version for the PS3. That was... interesting <.<' and have started on Grandia III for the PS2. STILL STUCK in Drakengard. Apparently in order to see the ending cut-scene, one is expected to collect ALL of the weapons!?! I can't believe this. After everything I've done for this game, now I'm expected to do an aerial mission in under 3 minutes?!?! Preposterous!!!!

Thank you so much! Now I sorta feel embarrassed for getting so impatient. I've started the download. The thingy says it'll take 4-7 hours. I REALLY hope the scanner's worth it and is better than my old glitchy one (it does look more expensive) - fingers crossed

Stayed up late last night playing Grandia III for the PS2. So I'm tired today

Oh, it IS compatible. HP 1210 psc (printer scanner copier) my windows is xp, but every time I try to download it, the software includes some program with photoshop. The HP site claims to have a basic install, but I can't seem to find it
I keep starting the download, then realizing how long it takes, blaming the lag on my slow connection and the unnecessary photoshop garbage, getting frustrated and cancelling. All I wanted was a simple install

My brother picked up a used scanner and I've been busy trying to figure out how to download an installer program for it - unsuccessful so far

Sounds like a good year. Of course, I've gotten quite a bit of loot myself (not quite as impressive): a collection of Hitman games (brother on a binge) FFX (again, cuz old disk broke) another Dune 2000 (they should really remake this game for a handheld already), a LOT of movies 'badboys' 'lock up' 'dark knight rises' 'the amazing spider man' (haven't gotten round to watching that yet). So, nothing new or impressive this year, just plain old fun.

As for the allergy, not bloody likely. The thing has been coming and going for a while now. Stupid swelling is slowing down my sketches and gaming and...practically everything I do with my hands. I THOUGHT I'd narrowed the culprit down, but no dice. I can't even curl my fist to punch my brothers for laughing. I can still kick them, tho

Hey, SS. I been awful as per usual. Got this allergic reaction from something (still unsure what) and my fingers have swelled up, so it's basically like trying to type with ten hot dogs

Christmas was pretty laid-back this year. The gifts were practical. Nothing expensive, which is really how I like it - it's soo uncomfortable when somebody gets you something big, (even worse when you know you're not gonna use it...)

I slept through New Years (as usual) and laughed at the people with hangovers (also as usual)

Haha Yeah it does. I feel thats natural after composing more than 600+ Musical scores for titles centered around the rpg genre you cant help but stick to one's usual, set style/ formula but for this game it definitely allowed him a chance for creative freedom. I read a great interview a couple years back when it was first released with Sakaguchi & Uematsu san surrounding the musical compositions for The Last Story where Sakaguchi told Uematsu that his submissions of the Main theme, battle music and Town theme he first presented was "all wrong!" and made made him scrap it n start over. The battle music Uematsu said he had found the most challenging cause he could not apply the same formula he had used all those years for FF n said he'd quit the project if his final piece still did not fit with Sakaguchi's vision for the The Last Story.

I don't like Zelda. I never won it - got stuck at this turtle bit. But now that I have internet, I think I'll look up how to get past it.

Yeah, I think I got it down though. First I play Drakengard until I get angry, then I play DragonQuest which dissipates the negative feelings from earlier.
