Thank you, I do feel kinda stupid for trying and failing...and now having to go back. I'll write an entry later saying even more things that have happened...I swear some people really just don't like me, yet I don't see why!

hmm, I'm hunting for a Linux distro, for my 9 year old lappy
500 MHz Processor,
256 MB RAM
4MB Video Card
10Gig Hard drive

I've tried puppy linux, but that was just a huge pain in the arse, with the whole booting from CD thing.

I don't mind doing some basic work to get some speed out of the OS, but I'm by no means an advanced programmer...not even a beginner really. I'm considering going back to Ubuntu, but at the same time I'd like to try something different.

Any ideas?

Hi. It's been a while since I bugged you this way.

Yeah it's a definite on the to do list. Just been fairly busy of late. ><

I kind of blame society and the games in general. Back in the day, you had to know how to read to understand the games. Nowadays, you just wind up watching the games instead of playing them, since everything is voice acted, so the games can't even teach you proper grammar or anything to even fake intelligence these days.

Oh and I blame word games. I want to come up with some kind of intelligent word game. Something like "word of the day," where I'd post a word, and the next person defines it, uses it in a sentence and posts a new word. Hooray learning!

I think it's time to fire up the campaign again and go up against pork barrel spending, I mean word games.
