  1. I would have to be one of those walking steroid bottles to do that in a bicep curl lol. Yes, I was talking about a bench press barbell. A dumbell was about 20lbs comfortably. How's your day going?
  2. thats about 100kg and absolutly no way a human being could lift that in a dumbell curl. You must be talking about a bench press barbell. Anyways, nice talking to you again. Take care.
  3. I have gone 220lbs max, don't know how many kg that is though. When I was younger I didn't like my name, but I learned that it was for a very special reason I was named that. I've got to go, I have to get tonwork early tomorrow. I hope to talk to you tomorrow, peace out man.
  4. The most I've ever lifted with a single dumbell concentration curl is 22.5kg. I regularly use 12.5kg dumbells and do 3 sets of 12. Sometimes I cant be bothered doing drop sets (constantly changing the weight) so I just have a 1 min break and continue lifting 12.5kg for another 2 sets of however much more I can before I cannot lift anymore. Ive always liked my name. Only ever met one other person named Rowan. Your name reminds me of the inbetweeners. Will Mckenzie.
  5. I'll try that out, I'm always looking for new ways to make myself buff. By the way Rowan is a cool name, so cool I thought it was made up lol. How much can you lift?
  6. Pull ups are fantastic exercises for upper body strength. They work biceps, forearm and upper back muscles. Although I think you should try a different method for bicep curls. Try concentration curls. My results have been so dramatic and quick, that I have stretch marks on my arms. I'd been doing them for years, but only until a few months ago I started a new routine of drop sets and the results have been staggering.

    My name is Rowan
  7. Ah, the sick day, a working class persons best friend. By the way, my name is Will, what's yours?

I used to do the bicep curls, but I found that the pull ups were giving a much faster result.
  8. haha, thats not a problem. Pick yourself up some dumbells and do some bicep training. Concentration curls are the quickest way to looking buff without having to do much else. Do 3 sets of 12 reps and with each new set, dont take a rest just lower the weight of the dumbell and keep going. 1 month you will notice a more than average difference in the size and strength of your arms. Ive been well thanks, took the day off yesterday though because I wasn't feeling too good, but im great now.
  9. I'm not training for anything in particular. I just want to prove to people that even though I look scrawny, I'm strong. How have you been lately?
  10. What are you training for? and no offence taken. The word diet in my opinion represents a temporary change in eating to quickly reach a goal. Ive changed what foods I choose to eat and at what times as a lifestyle choice, not a temporary advance. Although I do retain the option to eat any food I want if I decide to.
  11. I jog for about 15 minutes, than I do 25 pull ups, 25 sit ups, and to finish it all off 50 push ups. I'm not kidding, I've carried that over from school. It was the same strict work out regimen that I used during HS. By the by, I hate the word diet to, it represents something stupid to me...no offense I hope.
  12. I'm on a new meal plan (I dont like using the word diet). Im wanting to get very ripped so im losing some body fat then im going to hit the weights. Ive taken out white carbs (pasta, white rice, white bread etc) all except for one day of the week and I am sticking to soup, fruit, chicken and eggs. I only drink water also. I keep my exercise light so a bit of skipping here and there and maybe some jogging. I intend to have my goal reached within 10 weeks. What do you do for your workout routine?
  13. I've been fine, the weather has been rainy again over here. Infact it's probably going to rain for the next few days here, and again I find myself envious of your weather. I've begun a more rigorous work out schedule to stay in shape for when my sports start.
  14. Hey there, Judge. Things are good. Enjoying another relatively warm day. I've been playing borderlands heaps. How are you?
  15. Yo, how's it going?
