I'm actually sick with the flu as of today (well, I started feeling it last night; woke up with a cloud of nausea). But I'm also working full time as a research assistant for an academic at my university. I can work from home, but we have a deadline coming up, so I've got to keep going. Sucks.

Yeah, I imagine so. It's mostly for the benefit of poorer households and for children with irresponsible parents. As a child, it's not really your fault if your parents are not giving you good habits with regards to brushing your teeth. If we have a public dental health system, it is cheaper to fluoridate water than to pay for their tooth decay (not to mention far more humane than making them suffer).

Although I think maybe the forced-medication argument has some validity.

I'm not an expert, but I trust scientific consensus on this one. The consensus is that it does not. Some scientists believe the opposite.

They argue that it causes cancer. It doesn't (although it is a poison, it's just incredibly diluted). When proponents say that it is good for dental health, they say that it constitutes coercion and mass-medication.

Of course water should contain fluoride. Its a lot cheaper and less painful than an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff.

The anime is really good. Very fluid animation, and the pacing of the story is pretty nice too. I haven't got to play the game, so this is a nice way for me to catch up on what I missed out on. Episode 6 was released on Friday, and the crew met Kanji Tatsumi for the first time.

As to what Occupy movements need to do, I think not having defined goals is actually an advantage. Putting aside my comments about how I find it difficult to associate with people protesting about fluoridated water with dreadlocks and bongos, the fact that they have no defind list of demands means I can essentially attach my own demands to this movement: when I say I support Occupy, I am saying that I support a model of government with no corporate influence. Other people may make their own demands, ranging from the very moderate to the very radical.

You're right though. It is hard to be specific and targeted with criticism when there are so many criticisms. I'm not sure that needs to be addressed though. I think the movement is doing exactly what it should be doing. All anyone should be concerned with is spurious attempts by authorities to break the movement up ('health and safety', etc... everyone has a right to protest and to peacefully assemble).

I do agree with you. One of my teeth is growing outwards, which is concerning. I haven't been to dentist about it. I don't really want to go. Dentists don't remove baby teeth, so why would they need to remove wisdom teeth. Babies grow way more teeth and put up with the pain. We only grow 4 wisdom teeth. Us grown ups just need to harden the f**k up

I've been thinking of doing an IT course or something like that. I think my time making lights is coming to an end. But I'm not sure if I could grasp the whole computer thing. Or even just a short course maybe, just to get familiar with it all. I really need to make some changes to myself, because I'm wasting my youth. So scary to make changes. I think my headaches are caused from my wisdom teeth. But everyone is getting headache lately, it's a little strange.

That's cool that your girlfriend does that with you. I've been getting headaches in the afternoon. Yesterday I went straight to sleep when I got home from work, that's how bad it was. Cool. I have no idea how to build a computer. I only know how to use one. Lol.
