I still stand by my statement -- because at the time, to the best of my knowledge, they weren't being disorderly. If they were removed without just cause, it would've been homophobic. Would you have stood up for that, had that been the case?

If their behaviour was really disorderly, then their removal was fair, as I stated.

Also I suspect part of the retraction was because of intense media pressure. This was big news; the withdrawal was the first item on both of the major 6pm news broadcasts. People don't know are debating you on Facebook -- that's a level of weird and scary I hope I never face.

I think I learnt my lesson though: always, always, always reserve judgement.

Yeah I understand your perspective, but in my mind I don't want to stand for anyone being able to discriminate against something that is not chosen by those who hold it.

A bar can kick you out because of the way you are dressed, or because you can't afford the drinks, or because you are rowdy, or any number of reasons that essentially reflect the decisions made by people.

A bar cannot--to my mind--kick someone out because they are a man, or because they're gay, or athiest, or disabled, or old (iffy, because we discriminate on age for bars... but everyone will eventually become of age), or Asian. Not only is it not even in their interests to be doing so, it says to that person, 'You are lesser because of who you are'. That is the very reason why human rights are enshrined. They must never be used as a basis for discrimination.

(Of course, exceptions exist--women's gyms is notable, as are sports leagues divided along gender. It's not black or white, but being in a bar is not a grey issue. If they were not rowdy (and I believe they weren't), then they were kicked out because they're gay.)

Apparently the bar claims there is no CCTV. Which sounds ridiculous. I know both of then well, dancing on tables is so out of character.

Also, they've only been going out two weeks. Pretty dramatic start to a relationship, they're on the front page of the morning paper.

There is a PSP version, but I have the PS2 version. The PSP game actually has more games than the PS2 version. In the PS2 game, there are 20 trophies you can earn by completing challenges. For example, in Chinese Checkers, you earn a trophy by making a six-piece jump. In Chess, you earn a trophy for your first pawn promotion. Basically, I earned the 20 trophies, and that's about it. Parcheesi was the hardest. I had to win the game while not allowing any of the AI teams to get even one piece to the finish line.
