I struggle to see how protesting about being able to wear a tent in public is a form of protest. Clearly, this video is missing something. Was she wearing a tent do that she could do something to contravene a (by)law, and not be able to be arrested, because it would require her being 'stripped'. This is the kinda shit that leads people to see Occupy as being a waste of space. Frankly I don't blame them. I trust there are 100 videos of cool shit from Occupy for every one of these though.
How've you been Alpha? Hows work going? Must be keeping pretty busy. What are your thoughts on this. What do see happening here.
I dont know if you saw on fb, but I think you might find this very interesting. I love talks like these.
Ask Aerif (Albha) for the avatar. I swear I saved them but now I can't find them.
Do you have Facebook?
poor bastard. I hate having to work when im sick, but we do what we gotta do and thats all there is too it. Research assistant is a pretty cool title to have. Im an 'I.T support consultant'. I always end up doing more than what I'm supposed too. Best of luck to you, get well soon.
I'm actually sick with the flu as of today (well, I started feeling it last night; woke up with a cloud of nausea). But I'm also working full time as a research assistant for an academic at my university. I can work from home, but we have a deadline coming up, so I've got to keep going. Sucks.
Thats actually a good reason to flouridise water then. Im just wary of cancer, rates seem to be increasing (probably in reguards to population increases too) but I'm always trying my best to avoid anything that would be a contributing factor. I only drink water, so reading about all this flouride buisiness warranted a request for more information. Hopefuly they find a cure soon. How've you been anyway?
Yeah, I imagine so. It's mostly for the benefit of poorer households and for children with irresponsible parents. As a child, it's not really your fault if your parents are not giving you good habits with regards to brushing your teeth. If we have a public dental health system, it is cheaper to fluoridate water than to pay for their tooth decay (not to mention far more humane than making them suffer).
I usually drink bottled water or filtered water anyway. In reguards to tooth decay, im sure that if one brushes their teeth well they dont have to worry about drining fluoride. Am I right?
Although I think maybe the forced-medication argument has some validity.
I'm not an expert, but I trust scientific consensus on this one. The consensus is that it does not. Some scientists believe the opposite.
Who says it causes cancer and how can we be sure it doesnt contribute?
They argue that it causes cancer. It doesn't (although it is a poison, it's just incredibly diluted). When proponents say that it is good for dental health, they say that it constitutes coercion and mass-medication. Of course water should contain fluoride. Its a lot cheaper and less painful than an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff.
why shouldnt water contain fluoride?
