  1. Really? Do you actually look like him? Then its settled! You're Larry Butz. Congratulations, your life is now complete.

Yeah I heard there are at least 8 different endings or so? And no game overs right? Awww I just realized I'm not really looking forward to the gameplay so much, like ALL PS3/360 games have super small text unless you have an HDTV or whatever, and playing Heavy Rain sucked on my TV, especially during the fight scene in that prostitute's apartment. It was really hard to tell which analog/trigger button it wanted me to use. Dx
Cliff and Fayt should enter the Man Festival. ;]
I already have Bio, but really, that's all that Stun does? ...That kinda sucks, because Shantotto as a character is awesome, I'll still probably use her. And yeah her spells are easy to dodge with low bravery, and then you're left wide open for a good few seconds. Thank you for the tips though, again! =]
    It won't be cheap!
Omg I just turned on the TV and it was showing a surgeon cutting open somebody's face. D:
  2. Oh my god, it is me. o_O
From what I've seen so far, there appears to be dozens of ways to go about things. There's even a choice of whether to kill a guy or not. (The player accidentally killed him, though. But, apparently, you can spare him, too.) Controls do seem a bit unusual. I'm used to button prompts more than analog ones.
    Oh, my... O_o
Actually, she gets Bio and Stun. Bio reduces the opponent's BP every few seconds or so. Stun... kinda stop the opponent right in their tracks. I think it stops them from anything they're doing. But, that's it, just a quick "STOP THAT" spell. All her HP attacks... that's pretty much it. But the secret to Shantotto is getting her Bravery high immediately. Her spells become very hard to dodge at 3000 and 8000 Bravery. But, if not... she's kinda lame. As for Gabranth, its not hard getting his Ex Gauge full, just stay back. When you're in Ex Mode, its a lot easier. But, definitely try to use more Bravery attacks then HP attacks.
    Lobster... Okay. *looks*
  3. You should feel honored, Larry is like the best character. =D

I'd like to see what kind of different endings I could get, but I'm just not sure how much I'd wanna replay it after, I guess we'll see when I play it. The storyline/mystery is very solid it seems but the controls were a bit wonky.
But not as bad as The Man Festival from Shadow Hearts. =D YouTube - Shadow Hearts: Covenant - The Man Festival/Part 3
Yeah, my little brother got his Onion Knight to Lvl. 100 and he's crazy. I also really like playing as Gabranth and Shantotto, even if the latter can be frustrating and leaves you open more often than not. I'm hoping that as she levels she gains a bit more variety, but I guess we'll see.
Good! Now tonight I'd like to eat lobster. Buy me lobster!
  4. xD I feel so honored. Wait...
Could be him, he has some kinda mental thing going on. I want to get it myself.
Almost as bad as when Edge and Faize got together in their room... o__O
Same for me. I hardly even had time to breathe for a month. xD Onion Knight's pretty good, actually. His link attacks are devastating.
    Uh... no?
  5. I would totally not have guessed that, interesting. xD But now I'm going to think of you as Larry Butz from Phoenix Wright.
What if it was Jayden? The most unlikely suspect! ...Well, as far as I know, since I only really know those two characters. xD Maybe I'll borrow the game from my friend. I wanna play it even more now.
That's true, they have arguably more "together" moments than Fayt and Sophia. =P ...Or anybody else.
That game was all I played for weeeeeeeeks. My mains are Zidane and Bartz, but my secondaries would be WoL, Kefka and Kuja. I've got Zidane and Barts at Lvl. 100 and now I'm working on WoL. I kinda wanna give Onion Knight another try, I haven't used him since his Destiny Odyssey.
...Are you asking me to do math?
  6. I just took LARRY, my name, took the LAR out of it, and added a Z. (My favourite letter at the time.) I mixed it up, and got a crappy name, but it stuck.
He's too perfect. He's Mr. Everything-Right. Yeah, I avoid comments. After the video, I take a peel, and 90% of them discuss what happened in the video, which is good. Everyone has their own suspects. But personally, I think its Jayden's partner, the douchebag cop. That or the rich guy's son.
But Cliff and Fayt get so many "together" moments...
    Yay-okay!
LOVE IT! My main, main is Tidus. But, my other mains are Emperor Mateus, Bartz, Squall, and Gabranth. Ooh, I also use Kuja, and sometimes Terra. There's so much fun to have. <3
Well, the original price was ten gil. And I saved six gil!
  7. Hey, random question, what's the origin of your name? "Ralz" I mean.
Really, does he get suspicious later on? Wait don't tell me anything. Also, how do you watch the videos on YouTube without being spoiled? I assume you avoid comments.
Wait, are you talking about Cliff or Adray? xD I hope the former. No wait... the latter would be funny. And uncomfortable for Fayt. =P
    Yay-for-we-should-stop-talking-like-this-even-though-I-think-I'm-the-one-who-started-it-in-the-first-place!
Dissidia's soooooo goooooood. <3 Who are your mains?
Well, that does sound pretty extreme, but I was looking for maybe a number? xD
  8. Pretty much.
Scott Shelby? He seems pretty suspicious himself. What's triptocaine, anyway? Is it some kinda drug? The pause screen? I should go see.
Oh. Yeah, he's pretty amusing. Was waiting for him to admit his lust for Fayt's pants, but... Never seen him, yet.
    Yay-for-being-dead-because-they-got-together-enough-money-to-assassinate-me-YAY!
You have Dissidia? I love that game. xD
    EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME.
  9. Now you have to write a book about your life.
Hell yeah Jayden just be struttin' around in his techno-shades like a bad ass. In the demo you only get to play as him, and the fat detective (don't remember his name). And this is random but the pause screen in the game is sooo nice, I want it as a screensaver.
Well I was talking more "personality-wise", but yeah, Cliff's a beast. Did you ever use Adray? I used him once, but didn't like how he handled. I'm wondering if I missed out on a good character.
    Yay-for-wondering-if-this-was-all-worth-it-in-the-end!
Thanks for the tips! Maybe I'll try going to back and giving the Phantom battle another shot today after work if I have time, though I'm also still trying to get my Warrior of Light to level 100 in Dissidia, AND I was gonna restart Xenosaga III again... Eh I'll flip a coin.
    How extreme?
  10. Something along those lines.
Its almost 99% movie. Jayden's awesome because of those glasses.
Cliff's pretty good for me. He can hit for like 7000 damage with one of his attacks. Maria's pretty weak, but Fate tells me she'll become uber powerful later.
    Yay-for-actually-fearing-for-my-own-death!
The biggest struggle in the battle is having the MP to cast all the spells. Which is why Goofy's MP Gift ability is very helpful.
But I did buy it, the guy just gave me an extreme discount.
  11. Yeah! And to think it all started with a pan-fried noodle!
Is it like watching a movie, seeing all those playthroughs? I played the demo, and Jaden seemed cool. "Yeah... yeah, of course."
I loved Roger, but most everybody else didn't. xD My opinions have changed since my first and second playthrough though, for example, I didn't used to like Cliff much and then... I did. Still couldn't get myself to like Sophia though. And Maria was kinda weird.
    Yay-for-being-optimistic-about-your-own-death!
Hahaha, yeah... I tried fighting him a lot, but now I figure maybe I would have had a bit of an easier time if I wasn't so stupid.
Well, a little under three centuries'll do it. But hey, you missed the point of this quest, you were supposed to buy it. >:T
  12. At least its not boring.
SO amazing! I could hardly believe it when I saw it. Its full of intensity.
Albel seems interesting. I'm not sure about Roger. His character annoyed me, somewhat. =/
    Yay-for-friends-who-will-likely-assassinate-me-and-steal-back-their-money!
Not when I played it. Any of the clocks will stop them all. Of course, safely predicting when they will resume can be rather tricky with that guy constantly trying to rip you a new one. o__O So, I take it you've been forced through the Doom counter more than once?
The more its aged, the better its spices become.
  13. Your life has been full of ups and downs lately!
Omg, I want that game! I'm trying hard not to have it spoiled for me, but it'll be a while before I end up buying it so I have a feeling I'll stumble upon some spoilers before then. >.<
I loved playing as Albel, he's fun. Nel was cool but no matter what action commands I gave her, Nel would often run around in circles in battle, at least whenever I used her. So yeah... picked Roger instead.
    Yay-for-vengeance-at-a-high-price-and-losing-friends-for-money!
Seriously? It doesn't matter? ...I feel like an idiot right now, excuse me while I kill myself.
*Eats* ...I feel dead inside... Taste wasn't bad though.
  14. Um... :S
The Origami killer? Been watching a playthrough of Heavy Rain on YouTube, recently.
Seeing as its my first playthrough, I basically go with whoever blindly throws themselves at me. So, I'll pick Nel, and maybe try to get Albel.
    Yay-for-friends-who-might-hunt-me-down-but-they-can't-because-they-can't-even-afford-vengeance!
I don't think it matters which clock you hit, its all the same. The fight itself comes down to casting the right spell.
    *gives*
  15. But you never liked your wife anyway!
If this were a Persona game, you'd have gained that Confidence from drinking coffee in a suave cafe! Just like you can somehow gain Understanding points from origami-folding, if I remember right.
Okay then, hypothetically, who would your final party be?
    Yay-for-friends-in-debt-because-of-being-robbed-by-their-friends!
I remember I had to stop the clock, I think that might have been the part I had trouble with the most though if I recall right... I think whenever the time came to stop the clock, I could never find the right clock in time, I'd always happen to be on the wrong side...
    Gimme it.
