Ladon could be the axe wielder, But what kind of moves he should have are two types, Impair Stats and Recoil, He should have moves like "Armor Breaker", Which decreases enemy defense, And yes... I consider your idea of making Ladon the axe user sophisticated, His moves doesn't remind himself of Krystal, Since Krystal's moves are death chance while Ladon's moves are chances for breaking enemies statistics.
