I think that it was there to make you think that your not taking damage of him, that's what I thought when I first fought him. I don't think the developers were lazy though. I'll just dodge roll out of the way. Easy!

Holy crap, you got far. I've just got to the colosseum and started doing the second cup... Wow, it's harder than I thought. I died 3 times. The 1000 heartless battle is fun! I normally save the game there so I can go back to it. (Xaldin isn't so bad.) I get why you'd be weary about Xigbar, but all you have to do is Aerial Dodge the hell away from his shots. You're doing a Kingdom Key challenge too! I've got all my forms to their max level at the moment. I think it's 3. Level 35, that's pretty good, seems that we're both on a equal pace.

I found that attack to be so weak. It was just a way to get my MP up. If you start the match with Ars Arcanum then you can take his invisible health bar away and a little of his purple one. Yeah, but he also disappears for me with all my attacks... I can never get my Blitz to hit! I've tried a few times.
