oh cause i was going to say if you wrote the drum part i would test them. I write a lot of music myself, but its drum music.
And, I can't really sing the type of music I write. I can do the screaming parts easily, but what I really want is to have a mix of a female singer and a male singer/screamer. Kinda like the Wake Me Up song from evanescence. My hopeful views on it is to have background sounds like Linkin Park, guitar's sounds like Flaw and Korn, female singer like Amy lee, male singer like chester from LP, and maybe a bit of rapness to it like Limp Bizkit.
OH! Well, no, I mean yes. In a way, I've been writing lyrics mostly and trying to make the music for it. The drum beats will come naturally, I try to start with the Piano, and then move it to an electric guitar. I have a hard time with coming up for Bridges, I have the same thing alot of composers get caught up with, a repetition in one song. I usually write the Chorus first, the strongest thing on my mind, then I put in words. Then somehow, a tune comes in my head, and I put it on sheets from the piano.

whoa, cool dude I am in a band, i'm the drummer, were more af a hard rock/Metal band but i want to play some metallica. Of this music you say is it drum music?
On your last note, all of the above. When I was a sophomore in High School, me and a friend of mine would play Metallica songs after football until around nightfall. (Like actually play the songs lol.) We got so good we won a contest at a Fair one time, we played Enter Sandman since that is what everyone knows. I convinced my music teacher to get the music for Enter Sandman to play it for the school at Basketball games. Since I wrestled instead of basketball, I would play drums, and J.B. would play guitar, and the rest of the band with it, it was badass man. I've been composing my own music since my Junior year of highschool, and ever since I've been dedicated to writing music. Everything is more on the lines of Flaws intrumental style, and disturbeds lyrical pose.
i think musically wise we have alot in common A7x, Disturbed any others? BFMV, Atryeu, Megadeth , Metallica?
Hell yeah! AS is definitely one of the most talented group of musicians to be on the face of this planet, even God himself wouldn't argue with that. Their new c.d. was set on replay during my endless hours on WoW, PvP and Critical is a great mixture. It's been Disturbed's Indestructible on my iPod and Laptop while I play VII though.
