LOL, don't worry about. You don't sound like an idiot. I get that a lot. RK is the short form for R.Kyra. My name wasn't always R.Kyra though. My username was previously RinoaKari on another forum. I changed it not too long ago, but wanted to keep the RK in there somehow. Since my RP character is Kyra, I decided to change it to that. The name Kyra has name different meanings. One of the meanings is Light or Sun Light. I like to think of it as a bright future. And the R still stands for Rinoa. I loved her character. Since FFVIII was my first, I think it still deserves to be in my name. I like to keep things original sometimes. Keeps it fresh.

Getting your own style is key. I started writing/RPing about 2 years ago. I've gone through a few changes and tested different writing styles. I think I've found exactly what I like. If you saw my latest FF Exigo post, that's what I'm leaning towards. The group of writers in Exigo are absolutely amazing. All very wonderful people. I've spent 2 years writing with them and we never get sick of each other. I love them all.

I suppose everyone gets a bit attached when you write an RP. You would kind of need to when you'll probably be writing with them for a long long time. I don't anticipate Exigo ending anytime soon. We're only on cloister 40 and there are many many twists and surprises ahead. How far have you read?

But I already am in an RP here. I've only made one post, but I have plenty of ideas for my character. I've just been busy with life and that's been put on hold for now. I'm hoping to get a post up soon, but my life is about ready to pick up again, We'll see what happens.

I also heard you were looking for a mentor. Unfortunately I'm not exactly the type to mentor, but I can tell you how I started writing. I never read very much as a child. I was always thought of as slow because of it. I started to read fanfics/anime on the internet. I loved them. I observed their writing skills and adapted them as my own. It kind of worked I guess. I probably should do more reading, but I can never find the time. I just write what I feel. It seems to turn out pretty well. One of the people I'm writing with was another person that inspired me to write. It was probably the best decision I ever made. I would probably never take it up professionally, but we'll see.

Also if you check the time stamps of the previous year's elimination, the rules said obliterators had to wait 24 hours, but neither Dodie nor Telegraph waited 24 hours. Their first obliterations were immediate... >_>;

Last year's was very very sloppy. Lol.

Quick note : firefly was in the right. And judge can be resurected during the 12 hours. Th 12 hour window is the time period before someone can be obliterated. Hence why I refered to it as a grace peiod.

I guess dodie was wrong last year, I remember thinking that but like you said it was page 16, I stopped reading every post, and never paid attention until I was eliminated (Surprisingly, I came fourth )
