Hey michael, how are ya? I wrote a new thread about 'squal is dead' on the ff8 forum, was wondering if you knew anything about it and would take a look at what I've put together.

Oh cool, thanks foir the advice. I'm up the the part where everyone's saying the Laws are going to increase so I can start expecting the worse. If there's anything else you want to add i'd be happy to take note.

I'm trying to experiment with the different jobs, one thing that im doing is changing Monteblanc from a Black Mage to a Time Mage, so we'll see how that goes. I made the mistake of leveling up my extra human as a White Mage to a Paladin, so his/her stats are kinda average. Also there's a toss up between Dragoon, Defender, and Gladiator for my main Bangaa, which should be fun to experiment with.

Hey Michael sorry for the late responce, very rude of me. Just wanted to say I'm about 10 hours into Tactics Advance and I'm loving it. A little disapointed that Marshe and Monteblanc dont change costumes like everyone else, but that's nothing really. Like you said it can get quite repetative just battling, but it's strange how addictive it can become. Just out of curiousity, how is your party set up? I'm still in the early stages so i'm still figuring out good combinations of job abilities, so it would be good to hear what others are like.

As for dealing with my stressors. I think it's easier when I find that others are in the exact same boat. When I'm the one coaching them through it, it makes it a bit more bearable imo. I have a test I need to study for.

FFIX is on hold. I want to write a review of my thoughts on the game. It's not as good as FFVIII in my eyes though. I haven't exactly finished it though. I finished Mognet (which was disappointing) and the Chocograph (which was actually a bit fun and worth the trouble. I cheated of course). Now I have to grind again and I won't be able to until I get some money.
