Aye, no hard feelings. I should probably have been more specific with what I meant by fanboy. I mean the kind of people who've given me some annoyances of late with their pack mentalities and obvious lack of a care for what lies under the hood...
They can be worse than the pacs of mac fans spouting marketting lines such as 'It just works' over and over... But then there's a few 360 fans the same way. Listen to everything they're fed without questioning...

And yeah, if you have a PS3 with the emotion engine, you've pretty much got the best console out there. The ability to play PSX/PS2 games is a big point in that it's one of the best gaming libraries. In most cases if it doesn't have a classic it has a port of the classic.

My way around that was just keeping my PS2. It takes up space and can be a pain to switch out cable-wise but it does the job... Luckily my 360 plays most of my favourite xbox games so I don't have three consoles out all the time. That would get messy...
