The game sounds interesting. Right now, games aren't on my list of things to buy. So, I will just have to wait. But your description does make me want it. But alas, new computer comes first, then video games.

I have never even heard of it. But like you, the price would have to go down before I even think about it. Wal-Mart still has SoulSilver/HeartGold at $30+ right now, but that is with the PokeWalker, also. I would have to research it first on whether I want it.

I am not sure. My modem has a light signifying a Wireless connection, and it has always been lit. Then I checked the Nintendo tech support to see if my modem had Wi-Fi or not. It did, so I followed the steps on getting it connected to the DS. As for the Wi-Fi at work, I just had my DS scan for the office's modem. The best thing to do is just try it, and find out.

Meh, pokemon doesn't feel the same to me anymore. After crystal/gold/silver, the genuineness of the pokemon and experience playing it started to decline.

I have heard similar things about D/P, but Platinum is supposed to be the director's cut of the game, and is similar to the show (like Yellow and Emerald before it). I will probably end up getting each game, just to say I have them.

As for Wi-Fi, I was able to send Mognet Mail for Final Fantasy III quite easily. I have my DS connected with the Wi-Fi at my house and at work. Before I even played III, I spent a few minutes getting it all set up. It was then that I learned I even had Wi-Fi. I am a newb with techie stuff.

But I would have to get one of the DS Pokemon games to know more about its setup.

Hey there! I really like Final Fantasy III, except for the fact that there are no Save Points when I need them. III is a lot like the first two games, in that there is no active battle system, and that there are four party members. I think that's why it is more slow-paced than IV DS. From what I saw of the DS version of IV, it is better than the PlayStation version of it (which is what I have).

As for Pokemon, of course! I gotta catch 'em all, after all. I watched an episode of a LP of the Japanese version of Black 2 a while back and liked it. I may hold off on B/W2 for a while, though. I want to get Diamond or Pearl and HeartGold or SoulSilver and Black or White first. Maybe all of them. Can trades and battles be done over Wi-Fi? If so, then I would only want one of each set of games. If not, then I will most likely buy them all.

Naw homie. I had to sell my laptop to make rent where I'm living at now so I basically sold ff3 along with. Yeah life happens with shit behind it. BUT, I will be getting it on my phone so I can back where I was again. Right now I'm replaying ff 2 and I'm kicking asses left and right. I just blew up the dreadnought and about to go find Ricard and the wyvvern.

Savour the first week.

Yeah, that 7 did my head in. It rolled for literally an entire minute, and the whole time you're thinking, 'I swear it's getting bigger'. Your imagination goes into overdrive and after 50 seconds you're convinced it's going to be The Big One. But it wasn't. I only heard of one person who experienced any damage.

Umm yeah things are okay. I feel like I'm at work more than uni these days, because I find work more stimulating and free. It kinda sucks doing the dregs of a degree... I have more than enough points to have graduated, just not the right core papers. Studylink's a bitch for me too. For some reason they put in two offers to pay for my fees, and then I had to do some hoop jumping with Vic to sort out Studylink's mistake. Books are expensive too, good luck with that.

How are your new courses looking?

There are noticeable improvements over Red and Blue. For starters, it has better sprites in battle, more faithful to it's anime counterpart. Jessie and James make appearance. You can obtain all of the original first starters including a legendary Pokemon that even Nintendo didn't know appears in their game (Mew).

Gym leaders and your rival have a different Pokemon setups, there's Pikachu surf mini game, though only if you play it on SNES. Speaking of Pikacku, yes, I kinda wish it could evolve, though having a Pokemon with whom you can interact (something in manner of HeartGold/SoulSilver) is kinda cute. There are other minor changes, but that's about the gist of it.

Hey man. Really busy at the moment, but I'm doing pretty well. I have an essay due next Friday that I started on the weekend, but I think I've misinterpreted it. I have two French tests on Tuesday, one a listening comprehension one, and the other a five minute conversation. I only have one exam though, which is a huge lifesaver, as is Queen's Birthday on Monday.

How're you finding it?

I agree with you on Soundwave + he had like a 7++ cassette-tape posse(bird, cougar, those two rumble bros., bat, rhino, maybe a monkey and something else..) also he made vin diesels voice seem like kim kardashian.
My favorite I'd say was Devastator,all the Constructicons. After all the women got done drooling over him they came out with all sorts of 5-man pile up bots, but we all know the Decepticons were maintaining the 'beef-cake status' through and through.
