It sucks, but there isn't much you can do except check the upload dates to make sure the manga you want is still being updated regularly. I try to focus on completed books only.

It is nearly painful not to be able to finish a good story.

They have tons, but be careful about reading anything ongoing; some projects have been abandoned.

I usually just browse through the chapters on the site. If java script is disabled it usually goes fairly quickly.

I almost forgot to ask, did you get a chance to check out that manga?

Well, I usually end up doing so anyways through no great effort on my part. I guess I am just a natural clutz!
