Hum.. I'm in the same boat, haven't been able to find a stable job so I'm stuck working here and there with agencies recently, but then again at least I'm not doing the same boring thing constantly ^^

Yup, to be honest it's not just in your town. Most people have got the whole tight-fitting, men in girls clothes thing and girls in even tighter stuff going on recently XD people seem to hate anything that's out of their 'norm', it's pretty annoying being judged on a daily basis but like you it's pretty easy to just shake it off and laugh kudos to not caring too, it's the best way to be me thinks!

Wow, you're right.. In the big picture we're a minority and like you and most other users on here (I can imagine) are proud to be dorks/nerds/geeks. Although, it's quite crazy but my youngest sister actually pretended to be a dork because apparently it's the cool thing! Hahahaha! I for one am not surprised, although at first we don't seem it, we are the coolest of the cool (we as in the dorknation XD) hehe

That sucks about your injury but at least your allgood now. Skating is great fun although people say that its hard to pick up if you've been iceskating before but i have and it only took me about 20 minutes to get the hang of it. I've only fallen a few times which is quite something for me as i often fall over while standing still and thats without skates on.

I love storms too! To be honest lol things arnt much different over here we're in autumn now so its sunny one moment and raining the next. Im off rollerskating tonight with a few friends, i got new skates the other day so im keen to try them out
