Haha, yeah. I knew him because I recognised his body shape, his colouring and the length of his tail. I recognise these things because I study hamsters way too much, and they're similar to rats in a few ways. And yeah, he was really hungry. He even came out into the middle of our garden in the day time to find food. That's not familiar behavior for a rat, usually. I don't know why but I can't eat flavoured meat soups, either. I just never had the urge, I suppose.
Oh my god. You saw him often enough to actually become familiar with him? o.O Weird stuff right there. But hey, if you're hungry, you're hungry, right? Well, the meat usually gives the soup or stew some extra flavor. The only times you'll get a flavorful soup from just veggies are when you have tomatoes or a whole bunch of them. Are you okay with just a meat based soup without the actual meat in it though?
It's funny, really. A rat set home up in next doors' garden about a month ago... I last saw him maybe two weeks ago, though, so I figured he just moved on to someplace else. I've seen some really huge rats around the industrial and commercial estate, though. They were giant and feeding off Burger King. Didn't put me off my burger, though... I was starving, haha. British soups? Not that I know of, although we do have Britain related stews and hotpots, but I don't bother with them because they usually contain meat, and I'm not keen on beef or chicken in stews... and I don't even anything from a pig. I prefer vegetable soups... There never ever seems to be just a vegetable hotpot... there's always some extra meat or something in it! Yuck!
It's good your house was built prepared for flooding. Do the crazy huge water rats ever get in though? Haha! Well, glad I could do something to affect your dreams. Are there any special soups in England that can only be found there? It's interested me now.
Southern England suffers from terrible flooding every few years. Thankfully, I don't really get that. I live near to a stream, but my house is raised up, so it never floods up here. In quite a good area for avoiding that. I will! It's weird, actually, I had a dream that some Americans came to visit me for some reason, and I was showing them all types of soup... Haha... I guess because we were talking about it.
Flooding? From that huge amount of rain you guys were talking about? (or were those the Australians?) Friendly is good. If their willing to hold a spot for you, they must be nice. Ah....*sniffs* I though England would have clam chowder. Oh well. You should try it next time you have the chance though.
A nice school? Friendly? Mostly. It's one of the worst schools in the area, though, haha. It got flooded two years ago, too. Almost everything had to be refurbished. >_> I don't think we have clam chowder in this country. I'd never even heard of it before you mentioned it.
Really? Then we'd all be like bears since we'd still be a lot bigger than hamsters. Furry giant things that have hamster bodies and faces...odd. Yay! You go to a nice school...I don't know if any places in the U.S. are that nice. Free school is awesome. Anything good and free is awesome. Clam chowder? O.O You've never had that? GO GET SOME NOW!!!! It's just a white, potato-ey, and kind of stew-like soup. There are potato and carrot chunks in it usually (mostly potato) and clams. A bit like curry...but a different flavor. Miso is.....*can't describe* urm.....tasty stuff. The canned chicken soup is nasty. I make my own broth and add a other random things. Makes good ramen broth. ^^
Hahaha, scary, unless we had hamsterlike faces, I guess. I was going to an art school, buuut... I got more sick, so I decided to defur for a year. It's good though because I was their best student... which means they'll save me a space and will give me the course for free when I go back. Oooh, clam chowder? Sounds very exotic. And I can only imagine what miso soup would taste like! Chicken noodle soup is pretty good. And yeah, I meant the canned crap.
...we might also grow fur and become cute too. Then, we would be like hamsters! A world overrun with hamster-like creatures...scary or cute? Oh. You're going to an art school too right? Minestrone is the best! I like clam chowder and miso soup too. Chicken soup as in the plain broth from a can? If it's not fresh from an actual chicken or with other tasty stuff, it tastes and smells like hot vomit without the acidic bite. >.> Chicken noodle soup is good enough though.
Yeah, haha. He has jumped around like that just lately, but give it time. And aye, I was home-schooled by my mother until I was about 12, and then I taught myself for a few years. Ooh, soup! I looove soup. I like minestrone, vegetable, tomato, Spring mix broth, Autumn lentil... I think the only soup I've tasted that I haven't liked is chicken and I honestly don't know why. It just looks like puke to me. What's your favourite soup??
Really? Jari can jump higher than he is tall. That would be an awesome trick for a human. So you're his personal tort-tutor. It's cool you guys do that. Weren't you home-schooled though? You know all your stuff, and you're not one of those idiots, so you couldn't be dumb. P.S.What is your favorite kind of soup? Random, but it said so in your journal, and I'm curious.
Yeah, it's entertaining when the hamsters get up onto one of their toys and flip over backwards into the sawdust. Jari has never done that, but he can jump about a foot in the air which I find impressive and adorable. I'm kind of his personal tutor. He's coming up for fourteen and the education system says his math is up to speed, which is good because I don't teach math. I make him do little projects here and there. He doesn't really enjoy it that much, but tough cheese! Muahahaha. And yeah, I left school at age seven, but I'm not amazingly dumb or anything so it's not really hard to teach little bits and pieces here and there.
Does that mean I've been watching the female hamsters? Well, I guess if you annoy anything enough to have it attack you, you're the one to blame. Still really entertaining animals though. Are you his personal tutor then? I remember you saying you left school or something close, and that you tutor your brother a lot. Men = previous boys. Boys suck at everything other than competitions and the extreme sport of TV watching. -.-
I definately depends on the hamster. Males are a lot calmer than females, so even when you annoy them, they still usually want to play, that or they ignore you or give you a quick nip and run off. School's over, eh? I heard there's a break in Britain too somewhere. I tutor my brother in my spare time on computers, but I don't follow the holidays except for birthdays and Christmas because we only do two - three hours of work a day. He knows pretty much everything else, but I help him with English, too. Most men suck at English. He's no exception.
