The Quiet One

I happen to live close by my service provider, so I could go find out either today or tomorrow. I pay $40 monthly for the Internet service along with my phone, and I thought $40 isn't so cheap. I probably do need faster speeds since I'll probably be online a lot, so I can start with your suggestion.

Probably doesn't need to be said again, but don't freak out. I still wanna join you guys on WKC, but it could also be the beginning of something new for me to try out. So interacting with you online isn't the only reason I'm doing this, I'm just excited that I have something to look forward to. And so far, you've been a great help. I don't know if I could ever thank you enough.

Not sure about the speed I'm supposed to get, I'm just happy with the service I receive already so I never bothered asking. I always thought that my provider doesn't provide premium Internet service, though. was thinking of switching to something else, but only when I'm absolutely sure of what could work.

And these were the results with my fastest browser (Google Chrome). I'm no expert, but I think this quite slow, though the upload speed was a tad higher on Firefox.

I'm not even sure what kind of modem I have, it's been about two years since I've had it. We even lost the manual and all that came with it, and I can't seem to find anything on our model online. I'm being cautious due to our low budget. I gotta be sure I know what I need to play online and get it right on the first try x_x

Would it be okay to ask how you do it? Let's pretend I have nothing. Where should I start? And what's your best recommendation?

A modem. I have is a small device I plug in to one of the USB ports from Cricket Wireless. I even took the liberty to ask someone at work if it can be used for the PS3 and he said it wouldn't be a good idea due to its slow Internet. Seeing as it takes a while to load some websites with it, I agree with him. I know some routers can't handle online play and so I think that my modem won't do at all.

I'm still going for it, though. The only problem is that I would need to gather more money for the router and different Internet service, so it would take longer than expected for us to play online (until tax season, at the longest). But in a sense, it can be a good thing since I'll be able to focus on leveling up and finishing the series' remastered first installment. Having seen the game makes me want t play it, whether I'll be able to play online or not.

We'll see. I only have so much patience

Since money is going to be tight, it still could take a while before I start playing online. I may have enough for the PS3 and WKC2 during Christmas time, but I would need a wireless router and a different Internet service in order to play online. I think you mentioned a different method before, but for the life of me I can't remember x_x I'm probably making things sound more difficult than they are, but I can only get so far without help when it comes to this.

They are. This particular one mixes some of my favorite things at this time. As you have noticed, I have jumped on the MLP bandwagon as well. Saint Seiya, as you can see on the right. And the big guy on the background is Odin, Father of the Aesir as he is portrayed in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds

I may want to read more, but I also find doing things in a timely manner the best way to do things

It was meant for an audience at first, but like I mentioned it's gotten to the point where only he and I would understand what's going on.

Ah yes, I know it's Friday but we're getting close to the weekend and you know what that means ;p

Well, the forums we used to post in back in 2006 were hacked, and every new forum that was started, my friend and I just picked our stories from where we left off. I don't know about him (he's an organized guy, more than me at least), but the copies of my stories were lost forever. So I started my own forum, some people joined but it all came down to him and me. We had no enemies so our forums were never hacked, though we've had some spam bots now and again.

If I were to post the stories I have there, they'd need some massive tweaking. And even so, nobody would understand because the first part is missing and gone for good. Only my friend knows the origins and all, so I never bothered to finish my first story and went straight to the second. Weird, huh?

There's definitely been improvement, and a lot of it. Anime and gaming have been long-time inspirations, and they were what encouraged me to write more. I really wish to show off my crossover stories, but sadly only an old friend of mine would understand them. So much has happened and let's just say they are not as orderly as I intended for them to be. >_>

Yeah. To be honest, though, my early writings looks like it was made by a five-year-old ._.

Oh yeah. I've had plenty of those during my half a decade of writing. Hehe. I make myself sound like someone important when I'm not ._.

Would it be okay if I sent a PM about something real quick? It's just an issue I always had, I just wanted to let someone know if that's okay.

Right. It's just that there have been a lot of times where I feel like someone sapped the energy out of me. Especially after I post at my other forum (which is a ghost town....which is the main reason I don't even advertise it in here), I would feel like I just wanna lie down somewhere. x_x Hopefully I'll find my own routine eventually. Coming up with a decent script s hard, though.

I will. Now it's just a matter of finding my own routine. I might go ahead and start writing the next story arc. Wouldn't want to leave everyone waiting for too long once the first eight chapters are posted.

Though I'll later need to be able to balance that, WKC, work, and my online time x_x
