Maybe it shouldn't take place thousands of years after, but only shortly after the battle with Fate. And maybe as they fade from existence, they say their goodbyes? And maybe a pan over the new world of Celestai, where they say something like "I'll leave what I know to them." Obviously referring to everyone else.

Misunderstood good guy. We were blindly tugged around on a leash, led lies that light was evil, and we had to fight for darkness. But, Fate should be corrupted by Ragnarok, at least for the second phase of his battle. Perhaps during the final phase, Ragnarok is still controlling Fate, and he's like "Kill me!" And maybe that's where Alther comes in? Gabriel was killed by Ragnarok, then. (This could be such a twist... no one will see it coming.)

All you need is... what I mentioned, and the game itself, of course. I hear Ad Hoc Party is in English now.

Established in Plot 0, and dealt with in the final chronicle. All along, we've fought for the bad guy. We could also make Ragnarok a being of darkness, and Fate becomes overwhelmed by that darkness... (We could totally make this SO epic.)

I do have a PS3, just no Ethernet cable, or a PSN account...

...or any games that have multiplayer except Dissidia...

If you side with Fate... you're almost assuring your defeat, because its kinda 4 on two. Even with Ragnarok backing you up, the heroes always win. Besides, Alther's gripe isn't against Demi, he wasn't active at the time. We should combine our power to eliminate Fate once and for all.

I also thought of a plot twist we can use somewhere down the line.

Darkness becomes bad, turns out light was good all along. Gabriel was trying to save the world. (Cheesy, but it would be the ultimate WTF moment.)

Alther does want to help Fate, BUT NOT HELP HIM DESTROY THE WORLD! We'll make it...

But we've discussed Demi since the beginning. Remember Elyon isn't there for the final battle with Fate. Alther wants to stop Fate. Call it... saving him from himself.

But, I just said that everyone fights together, Alther included. I don't care if he still hates Demi, I just want him to put aside his hatred for a moment, and go to stop Fate. (He doesn't want Fate to have his way. Even if he was still friends, he sees it as wrong.) We could have a post battle with Alther vs Demi, but Alther is incredibly weak. But, before a winner is decided, Fate's remaining power teleports Alther somewhere?

BTW, the battle does take place in the nexus, but he teleports us out, and teleports Alther someplace else. Perhaps where Elyon is in wait. We'll need to really get busy on this.

But how does Alther wind up there, is what I want to know. If he was present for the final battle with Fate, how did he wind up at the nexus? And why does he want to eliminate darkness? Isn't that... bad?

I meant the final battle against Fate. But I wonder how the final, final battle will happen. Do they get separated after Fate is gone... Well, Elyon is already gone, because Demi has taken his place. But, what of Alther? Did Fate send him into the future, perhaps? I know the rest of us got away to the joined Celestai, but what of Alther? I can guess Elyon's a god by now, just unable to return to the world.

Oh, the hope-filled stuff, right?

I wonder how that would actually happen. I want everyone to be present for the final, final battle against Fate. What happens afterward is up to everyone else. But I definitely want everyone to fight together in the end.
