IDK, never owned a pool.
But a few of my friends prefer salt over chlorine. It stings less, is warmer and doesn't reek in high concentrations, but either way, MY EYES DAMNIT.

I personally don't think it is aliens... but it IS a proven fact that each civilization has these myths and legends. therefor making it a plausible "end of the world" scenario...

anyways, like I said, I don't believe it would happen, but i don't believe in the end of the world happening in 2012 either...
