Should I play final fantasy 11?

It's really outdated. It's older than WoW. FFXIV is coming out this year. It costs $15/month. You need friends to get past Lv. 10 in this game. Most of the people that play it are retarded and will piss you off/waste your time, too. And considering you need those people to progress, it's pretty much a waste.

That's what I'm doing, because I've seen a lot of people play 11, and when they're done, they complain. They all hated it. My friend tried to play as a white mage or some crap he said. That sounds like... A WASTE OF TIME. Ahaha. I hear 14 you can go solo, I would enjoy that much more, that way I don't have to depend on other people to help me get anywhere.

I heard the same thing about people that played WoW and then came over to FFXI because they enjoyed it far more and found the community to be significantly more welcoming and inviting for them. It goes both ways for people.

If you loved WoW and think it is the best MMO ever to be have been created, then it is quite likely that you'll not be pleased with FFXI. They take two different approaches to playing and experience MMOs. FFXI makes you work for everything and it shines the most when you're doing it with your friends. Quests won't give you experience, quests will give you items. You will only ever gain experience from fighting monsters. If you enjoy FF and want a good solid hardcore MMO experience then FFXI is for you. If you want to play for 30 minutes a day and feel like you've accomplished something huge, then FFXI is not for you. FFXI is not for everyone, I say this all the time. But for the people that it is for, they truly enjoy the experience as I have.
